Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a full conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. While some parts of the story are stretched to make it more enjoyable, we are determined not to stray too far from the original story-line. The people behind this mod want the community to relive the movies and have as much fun in the process as possible. Heres an idea for the whole lightning rod thing: Add 1955 as a year that can be traveled to, but make it so that no plutonium spawns in 1955. Also allow the lighting rod Delorean to be built in 1955. Then just do like omega said and make a "lightning" hotspot somewhere thats only active in 1955.

i think this would be a great new feature to keep us waiting untill 3.0 with hill valley, but just gotta hear what delorean88us thinks first heh.

Something like.......if you heard of April showers, take it literally and have April be rainy all month, or just have certain days be rainier or whatnot. Like 1-5 is sunny, 6-10 is cloudy, 11-15 is stormy, etc.

Not all rains have lightning you know. Maybe like in the BTTF: TAS episode, when they tried to influence Franklin to discover electricity? They made it with some electro-static machine. I know it's not enough, but which way to do it then?

to add the dot for the speedo, open up american.gxt with gxt editor(http://www.thegtaplace.com/pafiledb.php?action=file&id=566)
search for speed. Add a dot to the end of speed and speed1. Don't forget to hit apply to save the changes, then hit save to save the file.

No, not yet. The train will be included very much later once hill valley is in, mimicking the gta3 subways, since trains aren't suppose to be on the road.

That sounds like a good upgrade for 0.2d. Driving on land time traveling is fine, but if you happen to be in the air doing a 90 degree dive when you hit 88, the Delorean will be level with the ground when it re-enters. I like to fly up high, turn on the time circuits, and then cut hover mode off and plummet down to 88. It would be more fun if the Delorean were able to remember the direction it was going when it warped out.

Turn it yellow ??, it aint yellow in the movies, its bright red ! Is it really a big deal coming out from a flying time travel in level with the ground ? i for one would like it kept that way, therefor i would crash into the ground whilst coming through. I think more needed things should be worked on for 0.2d.

it cant be done. vc doesnt regognize the Z axis so it will alway spawn it level

if i could, i would have done it, keep all angles, but vice city only recognizes yaw (direction). It's only with the upgrade to SA that it recognizes the rest of the axises (pitch and roll)
