Back to the Future: Hill Valley is a full conversion mod for Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. Back to the Future: Hill Valley will be based on the Back to the Future Trilogy, allowing the player to re-enact all the great moments from the films. While some parts of the story are stretched to make it more enjoyable, we are determined not to stray too far from the original story-line. The people behind this mod want the community to relive the movies and have as much fun in the process as possible. um this may or may not have been asked before but this above everything else for me would be great...
Is there anyway the time travelling effects can be reviewed? For example;
1) wider and much much longer sparks
2) blue sparks
3) sparks that come off the wormhole
4) brighter wormhole
5) wormhole less circular, more jagged shape
6) wormhole more transparent round edges
7) wormhole bends around the front of delorean and is 3D, (not flat, almost like a curved "nose"over the front)
8 ) sparks that go more vertically up and don't ride horizontally along the top of the delorean

These are just suggestions, I don't know if anyone else would agree with any of these. I of course understand most of these won't be possible with whats available to do and you have already done an incredible job to pull off what you've done already. Just answer 'yes' or 'no' for each one or u can go into each one further if u can, either would be great.

1) looks bad. I've tried when i added them.
2) sparks are shared by vehicles, so can't do that without having scrapes producing blue sparks
3) they do, but since they're textures, full 3d depth is hard to perceive.
4) It's just a texture. Can't make any glow effects
5) if anyone wants to do it
6) if anyone wants to do it
7) it's a texture, not even a 3d model. Think sprites.
8) doesn't look good either. Looks more like an angry delorean.

yes, i know what you're saying, but it's a sprite that will look like that from every angle. So basically, from the side, if you have it wrapping around the delorean, when you go back to the standard view, the shape is still the same and the wormhole will look like it's wrapping over to the side of the delorean. And, if you go to the opposite side view, it will wrap the other way, not around the delorean but in front of it. It looks cool for only one view, but becomes an eyesore in other views. Sadly, thats what these textures are. Just sprites.

same way you do a skin, except easier. Since the thing will look like what the texture is, instead of being wrapped around.

Is it possible to take out the RC explosion trigger?
i know in the normal game you could blow up stuff with RC cars, but thats not suppose to happen with the Delorean in RC mode.

And could the mouse be enabled for rotating the view of the camera while driving, just like in the other GTA series.

cuz why is the rc explode function enabled?
does it have a function to blow up the delorean? didn't see Doc blow up the delorean.

and the camera view mouse control, why not...thats standard in GTA....very usefull when driving around and you wanna look around.

just another feature that would be cool...a working voltage regulastor function. Once the bttf1 comes back from a time travel, you have to discharge the flux capacitor....

I'm not adding it though. Adds too much to the game and doesn't really have a point, especially when all the buttons are tied elsewhere.

No, can't add glowing effects for the last time in vice city, or even san andreas. I can only make it a solid color. The coils can be made to look like that, but you lose the blue glow around it, and the luminosity that it gives off. It'll just look like painted coils.

also you could code blinking-only : without the beep sound.
