Ok i really dont like complaining but i think it would be best to get this one out. I am not sure if this is a bug but after i leave 1955 (the time you start for the begining of the game) i cant go back, in otherwords it will only let me pick between 1985 and 2015 after i leave 1955. I know there aint much difference in time periodes but i thought it best be mentioned.

P.S. keep up the great work guys

Another bug I noticed is that the plutonium is in the junk yard in 1955 too, and when you pick it up the terrorists come too like in '85. Oh well, it won't matter when the Hill Valley maps come out.

just one bug that (no pun intended) bugs me, i noticed we have the delorean door sound now. only thing is it does it for all the cars, except for the delorean (non-T.M.).

DO NOT EXIT OUT OF THE COMMAND PROMPT WHEN INSTALLING OTHERWISE YOU WILL SCREW UP YOUR SOUNDS!!!

It takes a while to extract 10000 files. If you exit out, it will attempt to reimport, but it will be a incomplete sfx archive, so it's missing lots of sounds. Oh yeah, and this is one of those "Do not give the user any feedback" programs.

The bug is, that when you normally wait a day or travel to 11:59 PM and wait a minute, the calendar does change to the next day, but if you go to a hotel and save, save, save, to simulate that you're spending days in a time period, the days in the calendar don't change, the hours just loop and the day remains the same.

And the weird thing is that when you first time you turn on the time circuits, the destination year is 1955, but if you change it to something else, you can never change it back to 1955, just 1985 and 2015.

Saving is glitched for now.
Umm, forgot to remove 1955. That was for the lybian chase video, which really doesn't matter since you never see it anyway on youtube.

Unfixabble VC Feature. All cars use one of a couple door sounds, and they are shared by all vehicles that have the same door sound. There is no way to isolate door sounds to only the delorean. I have already addressed that issue.

Before I make a manual, for Vista users, is there anyway you can install sounds or cars?

I had it up to like 91mph.

Watch BTTF endong. You clearly see plasma and the coils turn blue before the lightning strike, even without any fuel.

Good point, completely forgot about that. But then, there's no way to get more plutnium in 1955, so I'll leave that there till Hill Valley comes out.

Yes. 2a and 2b worked fine for me. The trick for vista is to right click the editing programs and select "run as administrator". Its the whole new security thing Vista has. It gets annoying sometimes. I tried running the setup program as an administator, but it didnt change anything. And I think I might have had to move a file from the vice city file to the desktop once.

and can you install cars and sounds? and with what program?

Aug 1 2007, 7:32am Anchor

quick fix for those with no sounds and having audext and audimp crash during setup.
Reinstall Vice City again, and install 0.2c

When you get to audexp, do not close the error window. Copy the contents of the sounds folder to somewhere, like your desktop. Move sfx.raw and sfx.sdt from audio to sounds(or copy), and make sure that read only is off. Run audexp, and let it extract (couple minutes). Then, take your copy of the contents of sounds folder and put it in the sounds folder in the gta folder, letting it overwrite everything. Then continue with the setup. Close the error window, and let audimp run.

I've found a new bug...When i get with the normal delorean into the "build-a-time-machine" garage , i select the bttf1 delorean and confirm, but often it doesn't work, and my game freezes....why?

Aug 1 2007, 9:37am Anchor

hmm, it works fine for me. Looks like the model didn't load correctly.

Aug 1 2007, 9:41am Anchor

yes, exactly. Only a few times i can get the converted delorean. It's the only problem i noticed.

Aug 1 2007, 9:49am Anchor

I forgot a check in there, and while it works fine for fast computers, slow computers suffer. Hope it's fixed. Test this new script

Rapidshare.com

save to your gtavc/data folder.

thank you. I will let you know if it works.

Aug 1 2007, 11:24am Anchor

Hi guys, first of all great job with the mod, me and my bro play it and can't wait to see hill valley maps :)

As for bugs, well few were mentioned, like 1955 disappearing after you leave it, and some are not bugs, for example when you are out of plutonium the lights flash but you can't go back in time. The thing i noticed is that at some point of the game i can't turn time circuits off well almost never after a time travel. Could you check that out? Anyway great job.

Aug 1 2007, 11:30am Anchor

Oh one more, when you fly a train/delorean when sth is under you it disappears maybe it's vc problem not mod's and i can not load the train with plutonium and without it it's just like dmc without plutonium, can't travel.

Aug 1 2007, 11:31am Anchor

it's the same keys as turning it on, just hold them down.

1955 was an unintended date that i forgot to remove

if you watch bttf1, at the end, the delorean didn't have plutonium when it was going to the clocktower and it still had lights.
