This mod aims to bring strategic combat to the Babylon 5 universe.

We'll start off with the Earth Alliance vs. the Minbari and go from there once we have those two complete factions.

The mod is being developed using a SVN repository. We have made this repository open to the public so you can download and experiment with the mod while its being developed. Instructions for downloading the SVN version can be found in this thread on our forums: SVN Instructions.

Sorry we've been a bit quiet, life has been getting in the way of the project a tad lately. However, we have some news, hurrah! We've been working on a few things behind the scenes, quite a lot of coding and some modeling work. On the modeling front I can show you the model I'm working on, the EA cotton tender:
She stands at 7362 polys at LOD0. If I get time I'll be rendering the normal maps and textures this weekend. With luck it'll be in game in a week or so.

When I do a skirmish vs. cpu, I can't see EA or Minbari as a race choice!

If you can't see it, then the mod isn't installed properly.

I just updated the mod recently with a custom main menu. Do you see that or just the regular main menu when you start the mod?

If you just see the plain background, then either you installed the mod in the wrong place or you have a problem with the shortcut you use to start the game.

If you do see the new menu background, then it sounds like you're missing some files in the mod. A reinstall should fix it.

Progress on the mod is still slow, but not non-existent.

I can imagine that. Of course, the sides are in no way balanced yet. The only viable tactic at present is to go after your opponents construction ships with extreme prejudice. Otherwise they'll be cranking out ships faster than you can destroy them.

Once we finish the remaining Minbari ship models, we'll be ready to work on balancing them properly with prices and build times. How long that will take is a bit up in the air though, since it's mostly CnlPepper working on the models we need. It's a big task for a single person.

ATI Radion HD3600 Graphics Card
Soundblaster X-Fi Sound Card

It may be the vsync problem you're having. Try turning on vsync in the game options. If it doesn't solve your problem, go to Forums.relicnews.com

That's the troubleshooting forum for HW2. You will get help if you post there.
