Development Version Download Instructions
Dec 10, 2010 Source Code 6 commentsThis is a pdf file containing the instructions on how to download the development (alpha) version of the mod from our public SVN.
This mod aims to bring strategic combat to the Babylon 5 universe.
We'll start off with the Earth Alliance vs. the Minbari and go from there once we have those two complete factions.
The mod is being developed using a SVN repository. We have made this repository open to the public so you can download and experiment with the mod while its being developed. Instructions for downloading can be found in our files section.

Afternoon all, it turns out that the SVN information I put up on the website is out of date and as a result uses the wrong address. I've updated the URL and changed the step-by-step guide to make it a bit easier to understand/follow.
The updated instructions are here: B5wwe.sourceforge.net
The new URL for the SVN is: Svn.code.sf.net
Sorry I didn't notice this sooner everyone. If you are using the old URL I suggest a fresh checkout. However, if you are low on quota than you can use the 'relocate' option by right clicking the top folder (Usually something similar to B5WWE or Homeworld2_B5) -> TortioseSVN -> relocate and replacing the URL with Svn.code.sf.net
Don't fear the quite people. Im still working on balancing the MOD and working on the AI. I've been using the B5Wars Role Playing game as a base in an attempt to create some consistency between the races, so far it's looking really good.
If you have any SVN problems feel free to post a comment or to ask on the RelicForums, good luck everyone.

This is intended as a modder's resource, not a complete mod. This is a pack of the megalith models included with Homeworld 2, updated to look correct...
This is a small set of scripts and objects that can be used by advanced HW2 modders to pass arbitrary numerical data between the .level files and the...
Thanks to VidyaSauce I have found another mistake in the SVN instructions. It seems TortioseSVN will put the mod files into a folder called code by default. Something I never noticed before, I must have been changing the directory without thinking. SVN instructions on the downloads page of the website have been updated.
Sorry guys!

Help! I installed this mod and followed all the instructions correctly but when I try to play it, it just loads regular Homeworld 2.
hmmmm, first thing to do is double check your Homeworld 2 folder, the data folder should be there alongside the bin folder. Also check the data folder, there should be a bunch of folders including art, effects and ships among others.
It looks like all the mod files installed to a subfolder called "code". Is that correct? The Homeworld 2 Data and Bin folders are untouched.
Ah, that's the problem. Not sure were code came from. Moving all the folders in code to your homeworld 2 folder should fix it. I'll have to check that out and update the instructions.
Check this Out !!!

Well the white star could be added to Minbari and the Victory to the EA, or have the same ships biddable by multiple races
The Whitestar is already a part of the Minbari fleet, buildable after capturing a First Ones Control Point, like the Omega-X.
I do love the Victory and it probably will be a special ship the EA can only build one of, although I'd also like it to be a First Ones spawn ship, same as the Bluestar, Drakh and the First Ones vessels seen at Corrina 6. The difficulty is balance, the Minbari have some good designs we can use to counter it, same with the Narn but I've had some trouble finding many non-canon Centauri designs.
I think the Centauri's main advantage is the number of ships they have and how the Vorchan is small and powerful. You also have the octurion battleship
