This mod aims to bring strategic combat to the Babylon 5 universe.

We'll start off with the Earth Alliance vs. the Minbari and go from there once we have those two complete factions.

The mod is being developed using a SVN repository. We have made this repository open to the public so you can download and experiment with the mod while its being developed. Instructions for downloading can be found in our files section.

Believe it or not I have a new release for those of you running the original Homeworld2, don't worry, you have not been forgotten.

After much time and swearing and general yelling at the computer the AI and Research is working, not perfectly, but to be honest I'm tired of banging my head against the same rock. :)

I hope you enjoy it, with this new release out of the way I'm going to be looking into the Remaster, been itching to work on it for a while now, the Dev's over at Gearbox have done some amazing work on updating and improving the game. For those still running the original, don't worry, I plan to add the new ships to the original version too.

I need help. I can't figure out how to build stations or anything else other than fighters. You keep saying I need the capture station control points but I have no idea what you are talking about. Can you post a guide or step by step instructions showing how we can build capital ships?

It sounds like you are not playing the capture mode. If you start a game in the capture mode, there will be a number of capture points around the map. Fly one or more ships into the control zone of the point to capture it. Each point gives different rewards, with station points allowing you to summon cap ship reinforcements via jump point.

Hey guys, I truly love the look of this mod. However every time I load up and select the 'capture' game type, my game crashes to windows without any notification. I have tried reading earlier in the forum to find a solution but I cannot.Is there a way around this problem?

I like this mod very much so far, the effects and models are fun, but sadly I kind of can't get along with the new game mode. I don't exactly know why but the whole capture bases thing is not something I like for longer games. I would love to see the vanilla game-modes and the new one all together and be able to choose whatever I want. Or maybe it is possible and I was just not able to figure out how:/

Anyone else having a problem getting the cotton tender to build anything other than fighters?
Im using SHWL to run homeworld2, never had a problem till this mod.

Ok, no i found out what was happening, i was playing in deathmatch mode.
Though i do have one question: Do your ships actually self repair, or is hyperspacing them out at critical health utterly pointless?

The cotten tender only builds fighters. you need to capture a station control point in order to build bigger ships.

Only minbari ships self heal, the EA will have the Maintbot for repairing ships eventually.

Yeah, i figured out the part about the Cotton Tender the hard way while i was fiddling around in Capture Mode.

There does appear to be some kind of bug in the Thunderbolt's tech tree, i see two pieces of engine research - the second one doesn't seem to have any effect on the TB Starfury's speed, infact it just seems to sit there and research for a long time.

All in all though, i like the mod, the ships look just like i remember them and this is a real trip back to my childhood, B5 originally aired when i was about 7 or 8 years old. :D
