This mod aims to bring strategic combat to the Babylon 5 universe. We'll start off with the Earth Alliance vs. the Minbari and go from there once we have those two complete factions.

Post news Report RSS Say hello to Babylon 5!

The Homeworld 2 Babylon 5: War Without End dev team are happy to announce our mods namesake is now in-game and available from our SVN server!

As some of you may have noticed from our recent picture uploads, we have finally got our Babylon 5 model in-game. It was a lot of work, requiring the creation of new normal maps and a total rebuild of the model's UV maps. We should thank both Sasteri and Meurig47 for the model and the tremendous amount of work required to get it in-game. Any Babylon 5 scene wouldn't look right without Epsilon 3, the planet it orbits. So, to complete the Epsilon Eridani map I've just finished a quickly cobbled together Epsilon 3 planet model. I think the results speak for themselves:

Babylon 5 with Epsilon 3 Babylon 5 with Epsilon 3 Babylon 5 with Epsilon 3

Both models are on the SVN and waiting for you to have a look! The B5 model currently doesn't have any guns set up yet, I will be adding them in the days to come. Also, the B5 area capture award is also going to be heavily redesigned, keep an eye on the SVN if you want to watch the progress.Enjoy!

Are the nebulas that surrounded B5's capture point removed now? They might have been the reason for my shocking lag & crash.

Win7 is also another likely reason 8-)

EDIT: I've just played the updated version, it's absolutely marvelous and the lag is gone! So it was related to those nebulas somehow.

But it still crashed randomly on me! *sigh*

I still haven't managed to get the game to crash at all, so I'm not sure what is causing your issue with the mod. Could you have a look at your hw2.log file and tell me what it says?
