Hello Everyone,

it has been a long time without any dev response, indeed. I am really sorry about that but there has been a lot going on in personal lives of the team and so there is almost no time to work on this mod. And frankly, a lot of community enthusiasm for modding has been lost thanks to two unsuccessful attempts of HD Interactive to create Nexus 2 and also NBC Universal banning incredible BattleStar Galactica modification.

Let's answer the most important question that you possibly have about SG: War Begins, B5: Conflicts of Loyalty 2 and W40k: Battlefleet Nexus. Are these modifications dead? The answer is NO! However, there will be no massive releases or regular updates as there is not enough free time for such things.

What is it that you should look forward to during 2014 then? SG: War Begins is going to get small update fixing few thing there and there, bringing back energy weapons and improving drone mechanics (a little) for Ancient Battleship, visually altering some parts of GUI, improving some planet visuals and very few other small things. W40k: Battlefleet Nexus might be (finally) getting a small Alpha Version release with handful Imperial and Chaos ships by the end of 2014. B5: Conflicts of Loyalty 2 ... well, let's say that we will see what we can do if there is enough free time for this one too.

Not anytime soon. Campaign coding is not officially supported (no documentation or modding tools), so it will take us some time to get familiar with it. We are testing campaign coding on SG mod now.

I just wanted to stop by and say great job on the mod but to also talk about one of my favorite T.V. shows Fringe. The show is fantastic and doesn't get the credit or viewing numbers it deserves because of its time slot(it is shown at 9:00 p.m. on thursdays on fox)which is horrible. If you are a fan of X-files,Lost, and Sliders then you will love Fringe because it has a lot of elements from those shows. I'll close by saying "If you are already a fan of the show then spread the word around and help Fringe get renewed. If you check Fringe out and like it, again;do the same thing and tell people about it.

Have you guys fixed or found work-arounds for the problems that the Nexus: TJI engine has with fixed-axis weaponry (i.e., weaponry that can only fire in one direction and cannot turn to aim like turrets can)? Babylon 5 ships have several of them--the Earthforce Omega-class destroyers, the Narn G'Quan class heavy cruisers, the Centauri Primus class battlecruisers all share the same twin-linked particle/laser cannons up front, for instance.

Last I checked the nBSG mod for N:TJI couldn't even get their Vipers to fire straight in line with the nose-to-aft axis. Will this be resolved soon, or is it hard-coded?

1 of the ST mods have kinda fixed it but the AI doesnt make attack runs so once the ship is in close range it has problems bring its weapons to bear =(
