Hello Everyone,

it has been a long time without any dev response, indeed. I am really sorry about that but there has been a lot going on in personal lives of the team and so there is almost no time to work on this mod. And frankly, a lot of community enthusiasm for modding has been lost thanks to two unsuccessful attempts of HD Interactive to create Nexus 2 and also NBC Universal banning incredible BattleStar Galactica modification.

Let's answer the most important question that you possibly have about SG: War Begins, B5: Conflicts of Loyalty 2 and W40k: Battlefleet Nexus. Are these modifications dead? The answer is NO! However, there will be no massive releases or regular updates as there is not enough free time for such things.

What is it that you should look forward to during 2014 then? SG: War Begins is going to get small update fixing few thing there and there, bringing back energy weapons and improving drone mechanics (a little) for Ancient Battleship, visually altering some parts of GUI, improving some planet visuals and very few other small things. W40k: Battlefleet Nexus might be (finally) getting a small Alpha Version release with handful Imperial and Chaos ships by the end of 2014. B5: Conflicts of Loyalty 2 ... well, let's say that we will see what we can do if there is enough free time for this one too.

Will the new mod contain the White Star and the Victory classes,the advanced earth ships or one of the vorlon ships?
I hope that the new beta will be ready soon, because i love this mod very much and i can hardly wait to release it!

what scaling have you used for the white stars? The 500m quoted by most web sites has allways seemed to big when compaired to visal refrences in the show..

i still wonder why they didnt put a movement mecanisum like homeworld or a map were u can put way points it rathere silly also i found annoying when the ships get close the should keep moving not sit there and shoot or try to tern and dont. how ever there were spose to be alot of things on the omaga thats not there in the show like those red dot u see on the side are missile tubes and as Mazryonh the two gun looking things were spose to be energy Mine Launchers. alot of things wernt added in the show. and dreamor and his team dose not have to add all the spifys if he dose not want to. :)

Sugestion for the omega heavy pulse cannons: aparently the 2 big things under the fighter bay are guns, would you not make the forward heavy pulse cannons fire from there?

Because they never fire in the show, and the Omega Destroyer's engine placement is wonky anyhow, so the "Gigaton Mine Launchers" (as they were originally envisioned) are now the Omega's reverse thrusters.

Frankly, if there's one other thing that needs to be fixed, it's the doppler effect that applies to the "Hull Integrity Critical" alarm sound. The fact that it can sound very high-pitched if the camera is moving towards the ship that's emitting the alarm can sound very silly. The opposite is true (it sounds lower-pitched if the camera is moving away) and equally strange to the ears.

Any sound can be changed in the mod, so we will also change the alarm sound, when we have some spare time for it.

Actually, I didn't mean that I wanted the stock alarm sound changed. It's just that the doppler effect (the shift in the sound's pitch should be removed) for that particular sound should be removed. The doppler effect is good for almost every other ingame sound except that one, since the alarm is supposed to be coming from inside the ship (where you wouldn't hear the doppler effect anyhow) and/or is supposed to be transmitted over the radio.

just watched "and now a word" where a narn and centri battle crusers have a 1 on 1, it seems that both are evenly matched, but in your mod the omaga is more powerful than the narn.. shouldnt it be the other way as the centari are more advanced and so should the narn be as from what was seen in the above episode?

According to the backstory, the Narn's inferior technology means that they had to resort to guerilla tactics to try and outfight the Centauri, despite the former's tech being based around the latter.

The EA's ships are based off of Centauri technology as well, but they've taken it to a higher level than the Narns have been capable of, so they're on an equal footing more or less with the Centauri's ships.

the centauri didnt give them artafical grav, so they may be able to match there firepower but the centauri ships are more manuverable.
