the spinning shield is the 'flare' that marks the beginning of the operation. you can see it on the left-hand side amidst all of the friendly units. the right-hand side shows what units will look like after they've been enchanted. you won't be able to see these effects on buildings, though. (the op should work on all friendly types of units and buildings)

Is the CO FT-17 different than the others besides the skin? Something looks different.

in some cases I used a different model to help me test things out. early on I would use the same unit for both CO, front, and support slots. I quickly learned that by using this short-cut that certain special ops could obliterate entire regiments instantly. (Armored Ambush, for example, which would kill every tank with the captain property). that made the op a bit too powerful for my liking. one way to help differentiate the units would be to have the CO look different.

in this case the CO unit is still using an older model.

Thanks for explaining that Giz, The front units look like the FT17 with a machine gun for the main gun, while the CO looks like it has the cannon armed version.

this is what it was supposed to look like. figured out there was a typo in the code and fixed it up earlier this week.
