here's a sample of some Norwegian Infantry. they looked so similar to the Division Azul troops in overall appearance that I decided to include them. since Norway only had infantry armed with rifles, machine guns, and lacked any serious Mech or Armored forces-- it was probably the easiest faction to add to the game. it will also be nearly impossible for Norway to beat any other country as it currently exists. since Norway was one of the very first countries to score a victory over the advancing Nazi forces early in the war-- I felt it was worth adding them into the game.
Nice job. The more faction, the better
So all the Norwegian got until now is basic infantry and recon? I think they also have anti-tank rifle, mortal or artillery.
For mechanize force I think they can have motorcycle units plus some halftrack.
For tank, well I have no idea.
well, all of my historical research so far indicates that they didn't have any anti-tank weapons or even hand grenades! they did have some basic field artillery, though. (engineers basically have to spam arty bunkers right now). I still need to do more homework on Norway. I haven't looked into their 'what might have' been category yet. thought about giving them a tech where they could research Swedish 'Lend Lease' gear or something. that way they could at least get some light tanks into the mix.
(I see that Norway had exactly ONE light tank prior to WW2, which they got from Sweden. so I could drum up a new infantry regiment with a tank CO as another possibility)
Well the british forces were in norway, your could give them the boys anti tank rifle.
yeah, right now Norway is probably the weakest faction in the entire game. adding some AT rifles will help a little bit. I think I'll have to add some non-historical and "what-if?" upgrades to make them more playable.
