this was a game where I launched two regular infantry armies, and two air-infantry armies against the Philippines. a total of eight new ships were summoned of which most can be seen here to the north of the island. I put a lot of work into trying to make the Philippines more like a real island-- with water surrounding it on every side. it doesn't look the way I'd like it to-- but for now the land 'block' will have to do.
my goal here is to have the new ships show up automatically with different types of armies. players can recruit them in the Meta-Game like regular armies-- but it would be more fun if they showed up automatically as well.
great
I know the maps have certain terrain types assigned to them (France is temperate for example with grass, dirt, etc). Maybe by decreasing the amount of these other elements, water will show up more?
I don't know if it would work or not, just thought it might be a possibility.
yeah, I'm going to look into ways to add more water. ultimately I'd like to see maps where there could multiple islands-- especially in the Pacific.
