Links to the steam workshop download and our discord can be found in the description! Awakening of the Rebellion is a total overhaul of Forces of Corruption. Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)

Ah, one of my favorites! I really grab that amazing desgin since Imperial Assault II. A shame that it isn't canon anymore. Would be a cool thing if it would always stay cloaked until it fires. Great work on that machine!

Disney's so-called "New Canon" is of no legitimacy. The TIE Phantom is from the Expanded Universe, and the EU is Star Wars.

I don't exactly hate the Disney canon but I'm never able to think of it as more than a fanfiction of the EU.

The EU will always be the canon continuity to me.

Yes, for a good part of the Star Wars fans, the EU will always live.

We take what we need, if it makes sense, to create our "own" version of the GCW in AotR. :D
Its just a mess right now... but we try to stay with the Legends Universe.

It's possible to like both continuities, you know. I just think of it in Star Trek terms and consider them two timelines from a potentially limitless number of Star Wars multiverses.

State: LucasFilms
State Religion: Canon

No one gives two ***** if you "believe" in Legends or Canon. LucasFilms "officially endorses" Canon but you can believe whatever **** you want. I, personally, am of the denomination that follows the "Adventures of the Starkiller".

The Disney and Legends-canon can co-exist without any problem actually within the wider Star Wars fandom I would say.

Even one of the members of the Lucasfilm Story Group admitted that it can be counted as just an alternate universe.
Heck, George Lucas personally counts only the first six films and the newer "The Clone Wars"-cartoon as canon for himself.
There are those rigid purists who count only Episode IV to VI as well.

Regardless how good/bad in one's subjective view the new Disney canon is, especially concerning events happening after Return of the Jedi, it doesn't invalidate the Legends material.
