Maps Crash Computer Thread - Awakening of the Rebellion 2.8 mod for Star Wars: Empire at War: Forces of Corruption

Inspired by the old RTS Star Wars: Rebellion, AotR brings many features from this game and other titles such as a more in-depth mission system, tech system, and many new units! Immerse yourself in the Galactic Civil War era as the fledgling Rebellion, the oppressive Empire, or the criminal Black Sun pirates. This mod is not for the feint of heart and will test your RTS skills with a completely overhauled AI and difficulty. Versions newer than 2.6 can be found on the steam workshop only (due to issues with the non-steam versions)

Some maps on AOTR straight up won't load, after I press begin instead of auto-resolve in the galactic screen. The progress bar doesn't move and a couple minutes later, I have to restart my computer due to crash. Is this a problem for 2.6 alone? It usually happens in land invasions and missions like Zhar. Is there a fix or a work around? |

I have the same problem. But it appears for spacebattles also... Have tried AotR 2.5, and there is the same problem.. Havn´t had this in the past with 2.5, in older windows versions... |
