Time to start the wandering, stalker...

Autumn Aurora 2 has been released!

The second version of the Autumn Aurora brings the autumnal atmosphere to the Zone and totally overhauls the graphics, sound and gameplay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. The mod is built on the newest Zone Reclamation Project's core, it contains official AtmosFear for ShoC which has never been released before. AtmosFear has been extensively redesigned to match the autumn style.
It also holds an official new Absolute Nature for ShoC (never released as standalone as well) with new tree models from AN3 CoP and some new ones.

It is the perfect opportunity for every S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan to immerse again into Chernobyl universe in completely different style this time.

The Zone calls again...

I haven't played in awhile, but I think there's one in a stash in wild territory (in the house with a hole in the roof), but that was in vanilla. Otherwise Sakharov might sell it on occasion.

Yes it is in WT (as in vanilla), but IIRC you have to get an info about it from one of the NPCs, otherwise it won't appear.

Can you explain me pls about the ammo wight? The kg indicator represent how many bullets? Can i get a list with ammo weight?

Ammo weight is measured by the box of ammo in kgs. Their definitions are in weapons.ltx. For instance
box_size = 20
inv_weight = .2

So 1 bullet of that ammo weights 10 grams (0.2kg/20 = 0.01kg = 10g)

Dammit! Once I enter the Wild territory i cant' leave, if I try going back to the bar, the game crashes. If I try to go to yantar, the game crashes.
I can load the wild territory autosave, but if I load a quicksave or a manual save from the area, the game crashes.
I tried reloading from an earlier save, I even ran all the way from the bar back to cordon to pick up my stash and back, but when i enter wild territory, **** only repeats itself. Is there anything i can do, i really enjoy the mod and i really don't want to start a new game :-(

Big fan of the mod.
That being said, I think using LURK 1.1 hands/models is a massive step backwards compared to the 2.05 release. I know it sounds ridiculous but the 1.1 hands and binocs in particular are so awful I cant bring myself to play 2.1.

Any way to use the old hands/models with 2.1? 2.05 is obviously outdated and crashes way too much to stick with it

Stunning graphics and game design, the autumn environments look crisp and natural. A fantastic mod for Shoc that succesfully introduces an alternative art direction...

While it's a great idea, there are many many flaws that make it a Misery (AKA unfun mod)for SoC. 1) The Grenade Damage and Range, way too high and ridiculous, IRL I could throw a grenade into a room, and stand to the side of the door, and survive with no injuries, in AA2, I can't be within 50m of it or I die. 2) The lack of visibility, yeah I get it "Muh immersion" but the bullshit that stems from being shot from places you can't see, even if you look directly at them, is ridiculous.
