Time to start the wandering, stalker...

Autumn Aurora 2 has been released!

The second version of the Autumn Aurora brings the autumnal atmosphere to the Zone and totally overhauls the graphics, sound and gameplay of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl. The mod is built on the newest Zone Reclamation Project's core, it contains official AtmosFear for ShoC which has never been released before. AtmosFear has been extensively redesigned to match the autumn style.
It also holds an official new Absolute Nature for ShoC (never released as standalone as well) with new tree models from AN3 CoP and some new ones.

It is the perfect opportunity for every S.T.A.L.K.E.R. fan to immerse again into Chernobyl universe in completely different style this time.

The Zone calls again...

Is there any "cheat codes" for all weapons in AA2.1? I want to test them and replace some of them with old ones (from AA2.04) before i start playing, because there was absolutely amazing models like aksu\or aksu special (especially default aksu, maybe a little bit annoying but best animation, ever!)
I have fully installed Stalker+AA2.04 archive, so i have all models\animations that i may need.
ps: i will be able to replace the models and animations, right?

All you need is some spawner mod which you have to merge with AA 2.1. Then you can make your tests.

Thanks for reply! I have replaced ltx file "gamedata\config\weapons\w_ak74.ltx", and folder "gamedata\meshes\weapons\Ak74" and got ctd on game loading.

I'm sorry, you must get bored with posts saying "thank you" but thank you for this mod and all the teams hard work. I'm a noob STALKER player and I only ever played half way through vanilla (it was GREAT but I just never completed). But with this mod it is even better and more challenging. Just fantastic. Thank you.

Is it happens on 2.1 version? How many active tasks you have in PDA before the entering on last level?

Aye... at 2.1.

I've got 2 open quest... the ones for the last level.
Even the savegame after the cutscene is now broken.
The savegame before the cutscene is fine and can be loaded.

Weird, can't explain it. We've fixed issue with corrupted saves so it's not fault of it. Looks that something damaging it but don't have any idea what it's going on. Probably xRay said "**** it" because as you can see rest of people have no problems with 2.1 version. Maybe language changing made something wrong, (some missing section) totally have no idea. It's xRay.

That's definitely a really great mod.
Even without the French version, I just can't don't play it !

Finally, I do the mod without the UI modifications I asked, because I just can't wait to discover the new features. Just one regret, the sleeping bad isn't integrated.
Usefull in Complete Mod when we are in a building with a floor and climbing to sleep waiting until the next morning to avoid to have to progress by night.

Because when using proper Gamma and Brightness adjustements, so one point less than the vanilla settings (for myself, the default settings don't render the real feeling of dark areas), during the night, the Green NVG is totally... Well, this NVG is useless. Unable to see anything without using the Flashlight with it. Instead of seeing a large black area we see a large green/black area. Just the White NVG is really usefull. And if we considering that the IA can spot us at 300 meters, when we hide behind a wall without Flashlight and without moving... So, that's just too easy for the IA to kill the player during the night.

Or an improvement and correction for the Green NVG maybe ?

Just a little question, if we want to add some little mods, like the sleeping bag for example, are they compatible with the AA2 ? I know that some mods are not compatibles, but maybe the littl one that just adding a little thing can.

Almost each mods would be compatible if they will be properly merged. By the way, AA2.1 has sleeping system like in CoP - there are destinated areas for it.

While it's a great idea, there are many many flaws that make it a Misery (AKA unfun mod)for SoC. 1) The Grenade Damage and Range, way too high and ridiculous, IRL I could throw a grenade into a room, and stand to the side of the door, and survive with no injuries, in AA2, I can't be within 50m of it or I die. 2) The lack of visibility, yeah I get it "Muh immersion" but the bullshit that stems from being shot from places you can't see, even if you look directly at them, is ridiculous.
