I do not know what else I can write here so you can tell me about music which might fits to new Autumn Aurora 2. I'm going to check it and choose the best propositions(only if they would fit to game atmosphere :-)).

How would I go about making a new version of my mod to be compatible with yours?

Unfortunatelly, I don't have good news about map editing. The tools and materials to map editing are damaged or something and maps don't want to compile. We don't know where is the problem so there won't be new maps. What a pity.

No, it's weird because we have two variantes of levels - with spawn from final 1.0005 levels and freeplay version. I made edition on Final 1.0005 with spawn and I got error about "no spawn" in levels.

More bushes and random objects/junk on the ground is what Stalker really lacked in every version, that is worth the wait :)
