You know that Austria-Hungary was founded in 1867. Before that it was just Erzherzogthum Österreich or Kaiserthum Österreich (1804) as the HRR got "destroyed" because of Napoleon. K. u. K. = Österreich-Ungarn; k. k. = Kaiserthum Österreich and before.
