Atlantis is a former Unreal Tournament modification. We decided a few months ago to stop the development of the UT mod and switch it to the latest build of the engine : Unreal Tournament 2003.
The period we spent waiting for the engine allowed us to rethink the main aspects of the modification. We worked hard in order to renovate the design and the concept of Atlantis in order to give it its own identity.
It is now called "Atlantis : Fight For Earth". We have new engine, a new name and new ambitions, and people with the skills to exploit the full potential of them. Atlantis is now more an action/adventure game than a FPS. Concepts such as "immersion", "interactivity" or "atmosphere" are emphasized here.
Our goal is to let you live a new experience through innovative gameplay. You will be launched into battles suiting the best action movies, while there will be alot of realism our main aim is to provide fun film-like sequences and maps. Whether in single player or multiplayer, you will feel an atmosphere unique to our mod.

It's been a VERY long time since our last announcement here but we're now back in the town ! No we weren't dead, it's about the contrary, and we've been working long and hard away from medias, in order to come back today with hot news ! Atlantis IS coming soon and will strike hard on UT2004 ! It means that within a month, YOU will be able to get your hands on our baby, and this on your new favorite game : UT2004 ! The official release date is to be announced soon, so stay tuned on Unreal related sites.
So what do we have for you today ? We've cooked up FOUR pieces of art from Atlantis, yes, four backgrounds for your viewing pleasure ! They have obviously been photoshoped to add that popular "blur" effect, but this is no way to fake, the four pics are based from ingame media. For those who prefer, tons of pure ingame screens are in the way this week or the following ;)
As a side note, we are currently looking for dozen Beta Testers (tho serious ones) to help us tracking the last bugs and play with us in big sessions to balance and tune the best gameplay we can ! Applicants should ALL have a DSL connection at the latest, and send in an application letter where they explain the time they can test, their past Testing experience, and their favorite games. Personally, I liked the urban guns better. Everything else = luv. Keep it up!

Well we already have Atlantis in the way and we need to focus on it excusively :) The first public demo is coming soon so you'll be able to do a better opinion of the gameplay !

oh i get it, its humans vs atlantis people.... ah....
hmmm... if this mod is based on some alien war at 5000 bc and using bursillum to open gates and using spaceships guarded by other spaceships to fire a gun that shoots something that reacts with the bursillum and atlanteans being giants and the eneides being ancient gods....
why does it have realistic weapons in it?
