An explanation why we haven't had any updates in a while.

My PC experienced a hard drive crash that rendered all data corrupted. So I tried some data recovery programs to recover all the data back, but all of those programs failed. So I tried to look for professional help and found a service that appears to be the best for recovering data. Unfortunately they cost roughly around $500-$1000 depending on the priority of the data and seeing as I am trying to spend my money wisely due to the economical problems here in California, I won't be able to do anything about it until I reserve the money for it.
And now we're trying to find one of the latest builds of Athena so that we can fix it up for a release. We will most likely find the last test's build from one of the team members' hard drive. Unfortunately Athena doesn't have linux server support and we can't do anything about it until we recover the source code. Though we'll get some of the content going while we're getting the build back, so expect some updates.

Why didn't you upload it to a server? or use SVN for your source code?
Basically my low budget and my horrible paranoia over the safety of the source code.
Hard to get a job with paranoia of your source code being stolen.
I didn't really say anything about it getting stolen but sure, I guess.
