here you see Talros concept for the M124 SMG. The ammo might change a little or there are double rounds inside the magazine. This is one of my favorite weapon concepts ever.
Moar bullets... MOAR MOAR!!
I know what you mean. I figured the rifle could have a magazine where teh bullets are next to each other in a zig-zag fashion. So you get double the bullets in one mag. Otherwise we just have to make it longer. An SMG needs moar bullets, I agree.
Zigzag formation for munitions would require bigger magazines, and that'd mean bigger sockets for them to fit into. It would also mean complex spring designs and strange contraptions would be needed inside the magazine. Another thing is that more bullets equates to more weight.

Do you will have normal bullets or also other one, like exploiding etc.
There are different type of ammo, since Athena itself can be used as gunpowder. You will learn more about Athena Lore with new updates. Some of it is in the Athena Quickguid, which you can find under "Downloads".
The thing that appeals to me most is the versatility of how " Athena " can be manipulated for such a broad spectrum of applications. Gives the " Athena " material a lot of artistic liberties for it's uses in the game.
