At The Moment of Madness

You awaken, cold and wet to find yourself abandoned on a floating island of ice. You resort to exploring the empty outpost nearby in hopes of finding some answers. What you find there reveals to you the darkest parts of your own nature and relieves you of any hope that you should be rescued.
This is a sci-fi horror adventure, turn down the lights, turn up the volume, put on your headphones and shut the door...
You will have to type /killbots before playing. (this is not a combat map)

god this mod freaked me out. its like the thing but this poor bastard is all alone. umm if i could throw in my two cents though, you should have maybe one monster that follows you, like sometimes the camera will cut out and it will show the view from the monsters perspective and he may be watching you. and then you have to search all over the base for items to create weapons to fend off the monster, like go find gasoline, go find a bottle, go find a wrag, and go find a lighter, debris like a board can be used to hit the creature and try to force it away but anything short of fire cant kill it. also you stay faithful to the no guns policy and it would really up the horror to the game.
I think I'm going to install UT 2004 just for this mod...
I'm very intreagued and want to play this after watching the video.
So much effort as far as I can tell has been put into this.
I love the setting, the ambience is awesome, I don't know why
but I feel drawn towards these kind of games / mods and/or movies.

Well, lets see, it's a map file... where do we put maps again?
Maybe in the big folder tagged 'maps'? Naaaah...
We put it in system.
Then we do map yadayadayada and zoof it ain't working whoopdeefrickindew
Well I'll just bloody drag and drop and forget about my settings -.-
Okay, done in about 14 minutes
Not scary, yet slightly freakish.
The map has alot of unnessecary things which cause a form of... memory leak, causing a severe system slowdown on my normally-Crysis-on-high-quality-running computer.
The voice acting sounded nice, yet some models looked like they were build up from voxels instead of polygons.
A nice experiment map, but... in my point of view... not worth playing.
It'd be handier if you'd add an instruction on how to START the bloody thing.
It either crashes or says the connection to the server failed.
nice job man. im going to play this more thouroghly so i can find anything that may need improvement.
