Half-Life 2: Episode Two mod | TBD

Asylum is a Psychological Horror/Adventure Game. The story begins with a strange dream, in which a mysterious ghost woman begs you to help her. When you wake, you find yourself inside an old, abandoned mental hospital with no memory of who you are or how you came to be there. Armed only with your wits, a trusty flashlight, and guided by the woman from your dream; you must find the clues to discover your identity -and your role in all this- if you ever hope to escape. As you explore the facility, you will encounter mind-bending puzzles, environmental hazards caused by the building's decay, and uncover a deeper mystery; blurring the line between delusion and reality.

This is the first time I've tried to do anything like this, and as such I'm learning as I go. The mod itself will most likely not have a ton of new/custom content, but I am at least hoping that it will be interesting and fun to play.

I'd like to send a big "Thank you" to all our watchers, and to let you know that I'll do my best to update frequently. We also have our forums up and running, so I'd like to invite everyone to visit Asylum-mod.com and join our small but friendly community.

If you'd like to contribute to the mod, or join the team, feel free to post an application at Asylum-mod.com . At this time, however, we are not looking for any additional mappers.

In it's current form, yes. Plans are in the works to bring it back to life in Unreal Engine 3 and (due to there being a commercial/indie game called Asylum) under a new name. I apologize to everyone for no updates. I've been going through some tough times in RL, but I have been working on some good story ideas. More to come.
