World War I, also known as the First World War, was a global war centred in Europe that began on 28 July 1914 and lasted until 11 November 1918. From the time of its occurrence until the approach of World War II, it was called simply the World War or the Great War, and thereafter the First World War or World War I. In America, it was initially called the European War. More than 9 million combatants were killed; a casualty rate exacerbated by the belligerents' technological and industrial sophistication, and tactical stalemate. It was one of the deadliest conflicts in history, paving the way for major political changes, including revolutions in many of the nations involved. This mod envisions the multiplayer aspects of the Great War.

Very detailed models. I'm not sure about the historical accuracy of the ushankas however.

Yes, they need pilotkas and those weird hats that give me nightmares about horse-heads. You know, these ones:

Many Red Army soldiers wore the Budenovka, even up prior to WWII; that weird pointy cap. (your link didn't seem to work, so I'm not sure if you posted the same one). However, Russian soldiers throughout WWI also apparently wore Papakhas as well (I have a large history book of WWI containing lots of pictures - many of the shots of Russian WWI soldiers either show them wearing the peaked infantry cap or the Papakha embedded with the Imperial seal/ coat of arms), and both the Papakha and Ushanka have been around quite a while. It's not out of the ordinary to suspect that an officer might have one due to rank/ better equipment.

Yes indeed. I will have to ask my friend if he can edit the ones from Red Tide so they can fit the heads of the HD models
