Assault Coop Mod is all about co-op! Each map will include save points, objectives, events, and even a mini-storyline to it. Players will be able to make tactical plans to take out enemy strongholds. Well after a few games over v1.0 some problems occured,

-Clients cant see weapons dropped by merc's but can still pick them up

-Old problem I forgot to mention a while back but its a biggie, after the game has been going on for a while the clients own weapons vanish and the players are unable to do anything except walk about, they cant use turets or get into veichles or even be seen by enemy AI, ive tryed disconnecting and coming back in but it seems to be the hosts problem as after this happens all clients dont work.. there player model appears on the hosts screen though. A connection mismatch perhaps?

-Im not sure if this is meant to happen but after an objective is complete on the map "ac_dam" all players die, or is that meant to happen?

I havnt been able to figure out how to get that to work for clients so far. I'm currently fixing that problem for the next patch.

there some problem that I had with the 3rd flag because I believe it lags big time with all the mercs. For some reason the 1.33 patch lags the clients when there are like 40 mercs on the map, however, in the 1.1 patch you can place 200 mercs and the client wont have any problem. I havnt figured out why this happened yet.

all the players do die so that they can clear the map of mercs that have not been taken out. I can't figure out why the players get killed when i turned on "skipplayer" for the "proximitydamage"

sorry for those bugs in the mod, I'll get them fixed asap.

several bugs in the 1.0 will be fixed by the 1.1 patch. heres a list of fixed bugs:
-the automatic death is taken out of "ac_dam"
-the spawn trigger in "Panic" now works for clients
-spawn triggers have lights over them so you'll know where they are
-the "replace me" textures were removed from "The_Raid"

Hi, new guy here.

First of all, great work on the mod. It's the only one I've found so far which doesn't run like absolute crap... :)

I've downloaded 1.0 and am busy with 1.1.

I see however that 1.1 is slightly larger than 1.0 which is why I'm wondering wheter it's actually a patch or the whole thing updated to 1.1.....could I have saved myslef some download time? Ah well, supose it doesn't really matter.

Anyway, so I've tried it out and it runs fine - me and a buddy can start up, there's enemies (whore' shooting us) but (and you're probably already expecting this)....

a) The game time sits on 0:00
b) We can't die and neither can the mercs
c) Ther'es a big "PREWAR" title at the top of the screen - somehow I'm thinking this is part of the problem...

I guess what I'm trying to say is - it feels like we're sitting waiting for the actual game to start but I have no idea why it doesn't start. We've set the player per team limit to 2. We even enabled friendly fire (just to check) whcih didn't do squat.... :(

Help? Or do I need 1.1?

hi,

you do need the same version to play with each other first off. Yet, I dunno why theres prewar on... Update to 1.1 and see if it works. There isn't supposed to be prewar on at all.... Well, you need 1.0 and 1.1 to play the mod with no problem. sorry for the long download... But theres more than 20 maps in the 1.1 patch :)

hi, i have exactly the same problem that squirly had, the coop game doesn't start and remains always in "prewar". also with 1.1 patch... any suggestion? thanks

you had the original version 1.0 first right? then you install the 1.1 patch? To turn off pre-war, change the minimum players to "0"

great, i changed the number of minimum players in 0 and now it works.
i had installed the 1.0 first and then the 1.1, on far cry with 1.4 cumulative patch.
