Assault Coop mod is planning to move onto the next cryengine, crysis! Construction will soon begin once crysis is released. With new AI and opponents to face, the co-op experience in cryengine 2 will be mind blowing.
the original three game modes from Assault Coop in farcry will be brought to a whole new level.
game modes:
-Allied warfare
-Cooperative Campaign
-Fort Ambush
-realistic coop-(planning)-you'll have one life and once you die you die, however, there will medic tools to help revive your partner
level ideas:
-zombie city rescue-run through the infested city to save the survivors. you may have to take refuge and hide because you'll never know where they'll come from.
-operation Alamo-defend the stronghold from the on advancing enemy. you may have to fight hand to hand combat from the overwhelming numbers...
-civilian hitman-take place in a crowded city and your under cover squad must track and follow the enemy to their secret hide out.
-men in crysis-save the world from the aliens planning to take over. you must also search for survivors and as well as survive the nuclear explosion that wipes out the city.
-deceased hill-you must assist your fellow allies in capturing and preventing the enemy from this critical point.
-unseen robbery-sneak into the bank take the loot without getting caught.
will feature new models, gamemodes, weapons, and AI
new AI:
-slow zombie
-fast zombie
-nano zombie

these zombies are WIP. this is just displaying the zombie behavior or character ingame. the map and zombies will be in Assault Coop Crysis.

I have played flawlessly on "Very High" settings in XP since the demo.. Haven't had time for much MP though.. I don't remember how the physics are there.. I'll have to check that out :)
new team member ZeQ! Hes a coder and will help make coop possible for crysis. We just hope the SDK will come out sooner so there won't be that much trouble
I just don't get it though. It works in singleplayer real nice, but somehow it doesn't work in multiplayer because they say, crap, sending those extra packets lags down a server because Mr. Server Box doesn't like receiving packets from the non-Vista computers. I realize that, to run a server, said server box doesn't require a graphics card *or* vista, but if you want to play on this server, *you* better have it. There's gotta be a way. I'll keep watching this with hope.
I wouldn't be surprised if you can.
its seems he just changed the config settings so that he can put it even more high. i dunno yet if that means you could destroy the assets or brushes.

Someone managed to crack the Very high settings that were exclusive for Vista to XP. So destroyable fences and multiplayer physics might be possible...
i'm not sure. the xp systems can't handle the destructible assets and brushes in crysis. You would still have the working destroyable trees and physicalized objects that you could throw but things like destroyable fences and huts isnt possible :(
