During a routine exercise, Sonic and Co. are alerted to a disturbance on the Floating Island. There, Eggman and his badnik army are excavating for a lost Chaos Emerald of immense power. Sonic & Shadow combine forces once again to thwart Eggman's attempt to imprison the planet, but Eggman escapes with the emerald in tow. Unbeknown to them all, the future is about to change for the worse, once the power of the emerald re-awakens one of Mobius' oldest threats.
A:DR is an action adventure modification for Unreal Tournament 2004 based on the adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog. The player will assume the role of Sonic the Hedgehog (and friends) to save planet Mobius from his nemesis Dr. Ivo 'Eggman' Robotnik and the nefarious Ashura.

After a little behind-the-scenes chatter, it has decided that the full modification of Ashura: Dark Reign will be made on Unreal Tournament 2007 instead of Unreal Tournament 2004. But don't fear, UT2004 fans: We plan to release a multiplayer demo on UT2004 sometime between now and when we convert everything to UT2007.
Heres some of the reasons the move has been made.
1.) Single Player maps can stream together with very small loading times.
2.) High detail textures and models.
3.) Better physics using the Havok engine.
4.) Better texture and particle emitter effects.
5.) A much better body and facial rigging system.
6.) Its Next Gen Technology.
7.) Already UT Gamers have already begun the transition to the new engine before its even released by creating assets. (Static meshes, player Models, etc)
8.) Better Bot support and AI.
9.) UT2004 is hard to find for someone who wants to play it, where as UT2007 will be available in all videogame stores and easily accessible.
When ADR is finally released, I'm sure you will agree that the move was the best decision.

oh and i advise you use a better file storing system ... everyone and their dog seems to have access to your files ... you would think you guys would .rar them with a password if you are going to put it in a public place :| (and even a semi-private place) ...
Thank you. I cant clarify if those are ours or not, one of the other memeber will do that. Im the musician ^^ And for the file storing, it seems we´ve had a team member who likes to leak out our stuff, therefor we have discussed new precautions and such from preventing this from happening again.
Now for a public comment:
For those just waiting for this mod to come out so you can steal and play about with our stuff, try picturing yourself doing a mod, and then people rip and share your hard work around the web because they think they are badass? Wouldn´t you as a modeler and mod member be pissed off beyond reason if the same thing happened to you? I belive it would piss you off extreamly. So, why should we put all this hard work into this mod if this is the reason for everyone waiting on it? We could stop releasing anything else and just keep the mod to ourselves because of people ripping and doing shit like lightdasher, even if he got it from a former team member there is no need to show it off. So, if we dont release anything else, thank people like the guy on L4Y (link given to us by Assaultman67) and lightdasher.

Hi ... i guess O_o ... ok i guess ill cut the crap, i am an admin on ut2004.levels4you.com and i know a while back you had some models stolen from your mod ... i found someone trying to distribute those files and i am going to disable the link to the file in "http://ut2004.levels4you.com/forum.l4y?do=view&t=175579&viewfrom=2" untill you respond about whether or not it is ok or not.
Classified? seeing as I created him and spent countless hours rigging and animating the damn thing i think I have a right to know.
