Save Mobius from impending doom from the nefarious Ashura and Dr. Eggman or thwart the plans of the Brotherhood of Metallix. This mod is based on a darker perspective of the Sonic the Hedgehog universe. This isn't a shooter like UT2004, you will have to find objects to use, solve puzzles, and interact with a number of NPC characters to progress through the story. After months of conceptual talking and "this sounds good, that sounds good", we're finally starting to drag our feet along here. In the past week we've acquired a few new team members, each one playing an important part in developement.
Joining the ranks of the Ashura: Dark Reign team is:

N°tAdmin
Mapper / Cinematics.

Xaklse
Power up Coder.

Digimaks
Concept Artist / Mapper / Staticmesh Modeller.

So getting past the welcoming ceremony: what are we working on?

Well, as of today we have 2 DM maps in the works (Yes, mappage, finally.) And Individual hoverboards are being designed and modelled for the different potential multiplay characters in the mod, Thoguh no work has begun on the Extreme Riders gametype. (Think roadrash with hoverboards. None of this XTREME GEAR LOL crap.) Recently we got our first online playtest of the models (Mostly me getting owned by Dekrayzis) and they work like a charm. No surprise since they work fine in instant action, but it was worth noting.

That's just about all I can say for now. More updates as they merit.

I'm glad to hear that progress on this project is still moving right along. I was fearing that it was going to continue to slow to a crawl, then wither into nothingness.

As always, I'm totally looking forward to anything you guys decide to release to the general public. :D

Thanks =D. It's always nice to see loyal supporters interested in our work. Keep your eyes peeled, new things are starting to be developed every day. Small new things, bit's of code, etc, but new things none the less.
