Arx Insanity is a remaster and immersive sim mod for Arx Fatalis. Improved gameplay, remastered and detailed HD graphics, enhanced lighting,expanded lore, quests, remastered soundtrack, original music, overhauled sounds, environmental effects and thousands of total changes. Adding new elements inspired by Arkane and Looking-Glass games, you can play with a variety of new approaches and choices.
A quick glance to the crystal caves in Insanity Mod
Things that are being developed nowadays:
-Difficulty modes were implemented in the source code
-Improving some areas in texturing and lighting (yes, once again)
-The complete Insanity soundtrack is almost done (6 pending tracks of 51)
-Working the english speech recording quality and volume
-Polishing the last scripting stuff for the NPCs design
-The Alia and Lunshire meeting cinematic has been improved
-Huge bug fixing
Important notice: probably the mod will be delayed a couple of months due to the current situation and hard times but it's not sure yet, if this happens a demo will be released on october 30th, I'm having financial problems, not enough time and I want to release the mod with quality and do it in the best possible way, thanks for all your support we reached 60k views here on ModDB!.
