Unlock the truth
built on Unreal Development Kit
Using the power of Unreal Development kit, and the classic style of the older generation Armored Core games for the Playstation, this project is designed to bring fans of the classic Armored Core series a short 3d animation to remind them of the good old days.

Welcome to another July update for Project : Limit Release, in this update I will be talking about our new crowd/fan funding model of the project and all the new live content being created on TwitchTV.
(Machinima is a form of animation created using video games or video game engines to render the footage.)
We really cannot say thank you enough at the moment to the community for the support we are getting, because of all the great support.
We decided to start a crowd funding system similar to what you would find on kickstarter or indie go go in response to all the good feedback we have been getting, the donate button found on our Facebook (and at the bottom of this update and future updates) has begun to take donations after setting it up last week and so far the response is great, the aim of the donate button is to use the donations to purchase updated hardware that can run Unreal Engine 4 (as we are both using 7 year old machines that are almost dead) and also to purchase software we can use to increase the visual quality of the project some of the pieces of software we have in mind include; Quixel Suite, Rayfire FX, and Fume FX, as well as these pieces of software we are also looking into doing mocap for the characters facial animations with various different pieces of software to achieve the best looking movie we can provide.
Question : Why should we donate?
Answer : Donating money (A amount you decide on) helps us continue to make quality content and products, the more money we raise the better hardware we can get, better hardware means less time spent producing things because of technological efficiency (newer hardware is faster), it allows us to purchase licenses for the software we have planned to use on the project so we can make the visuals even higher quality and it allows us to get closer to our dream of making this project the best thing we can make a reality with every tiny bit you donate.
Since we decided to launch the fan funding idea, and because we have started to receive funds that will go towards our goal of providing us with the tools we need to make the incredible jump in visual quality, we decided to become closer to the community by launching a Twitter account and a TwitchTV account, these two sites along with our Facebook page and this ModDB page allow us to reach out to our community we are building quite far, we are currently streaming everyday at 11pm GMT+0 (London) for a few hours until early in the morning, in the stream fans and followers can chat about the project, the work being done on screen or anything else and we respond to questions too.
Expect a lot of content in the future and lots more updates to come, so please stay tuned.
