The gates are being extensively tested in anticipation for a beta release, were also looking in to packaging up the SG Units and a few of the ships.

StarGate Beta Almost Ready
I've been working a silly number of hours tweaking and adding code; the time almost apon us, a beta will be release in the next few days.

hey would the transition between two planets be a loading screen?
Yeah, you could call it that... we use the time to preload the scene at the other end.
Think you could have cut about 7 minutes out of that video. The wormhole graphics and the dialing at the end are cool, but otherwise it looks like a Jaffa model plonked inside Armed Assault.
Mod might be fun and whatnot (not played it), but that video was dire.
The videos aren't really ment as trailers, they just WIP gameplay clips.
I could spend hours making traliers every 6 months but thats time where i could be improving the mod.
Its better in the long run if i just post clips

Wow, that looked really good, i am installing ArmA now.
I was wondering do the gliders in the video not actually have weapons yet or where they just put in for added effect?
Well, there actually to effective at the moment. I had to give them no ammo in order to create the clip... They'll be balanced before release.
I think ArmA is probably the only game in the world, where the AI would lay down and face the opposite direction after shooting at you...however, I do enjoy playing it and there are some fixes out now.
This seems to be a huge project and will probably greatly benefit from some more community input. I look forward to a beta release to help improve what is there and make this a great Stargate mod.
