You are part of the ETET Team (Extra-Terrestrial Extermination Team) You are sent in under the governments orders to "clean up" an alien infestation after reports of a freak disaster at a near by science facility. You are sent in alone to investigate the perimeter of the zone but soon realize that many of your fellow squad are not responding and that your signal has been lost. Upon descending into the infamous complex, you discover that it is not a hangar with some UFO's and green men, but a labyrinth of hell!

This is a very short and simple mod that I'm working on. I will be getting help of my friend too. This is my first ever mod and I'm a rookie mapper. I'm pushing myself to be better at mapping and produce good work! This is to show the potential i have and also a mini project to impress some friends of mine. This mod is not to be taken as a EXTREMELY fantastic mod but it was something I wanted to do. I will be working on this for some time and if anyone has any room for improvement feel free to PM me!

I will try to focus more on fight scenes and adventure more deeply. I want every enemy to be tough and when running round a corner and bumping into numerous enemies, i want there to be more of a challenge taking cover and fighting for your life. I've set out to make the weapons realistic too, e.g making the shotgun more powerful as an up close jackhammer!
 I will also put the effort into detailing the levels and making music to give players an atmosphere that will hopefully entice them into carrying on!
I aim to make this mod different and to make it entertaining so that it can still be enjoyable even today!

Ok so firstly i want everybody to know that I am having a hard time juggling school life, family and friends, and extra activity so it will take me some time to create things, upload things, etc. I am making good steady progress with the mod.Yes i am using the MESA-7 Map Editor, (i do have permission to use it!)Yes it is only a basic mod so please dont expect the best game ever!I will be putting as much free time and effort into this.Yes i am a basic mapper with a passionate ambition

It's an old video but it contains footage of the WIP Bridge map. Still a beta thing and needs a LOT of work but it portrays my initial idea of having a huge ***-alien fight scene on the bridge.

I apoligise for the HUGE amount of time it's taken for this mod. But I NEED to explain some things ergently.

The reason I've not had time to do much is because I'm currently taking my GCSE exams at school. This requires a LOT of coursework and revision so I can get my grades in and stuff. Plus I've had a few medical problems, physically and mentally and my family have been having...."Complications".

Getting to the point, I apoligise for seeming to not be doing any more work on the mod. Truth is, I've not touched the mod since earlyier this year. Some say I've been to lazy, some say I'm another dissapointing creator. Ah tough, if you don't like my pace of work then go away, I work at my pace. Weather this mod takes 5 years or a week.

I aint giving up on this mod. I have the entire modding folder on my old PC that I plan to one day pick up and work on till I finish it. I promise a good mod. Right now I need time to find more modders, mappers, coders and get help from a couple of special friends.

This mod may seem dead for now but I won't be leaving it forever.
Think of it as a "Duke Nukem" mod.

Don't expect to see this finished in the next few months it's gonna take me a while but I want this to be a real kick *** mod, so my goal is to do that. I will start production on this later in the year after my studyleave at school. Thank you all so much for supporting and looking out for this mod I truly love you guys!

One advice : don't loose precious time to post too much mode preview stuff and respond to EVERY post, instead, concentrate on the mod (mapping), and compile your maps more often. Which, will lead You to the question, whay they lag so much your Half-Life (low FPS).

Here comes I (only if you promise me that you will finish and release the mod), if you have any real-time chat program (skype, messenger, msn or so), I can help You with your mod with custom better and new UFO/Alien prefabs, models and stuff, exclusively and only for your mod, also I'll give You links with short explanations, how the HL engine works when blocking polygons, and why your maps will lag (horrible r_speed).

If someone is a singleplayer mod maker, he must know these things (random order) :
1. How ALL HL entity works, and how to make very complicated entitys and solids.
2. How the HL engine works, and how to use tricks in building the maps, so they don't lag to oblivion.
3. How to compile properly for test and final, using the right tools.
4. How to do other stuff, like modeling and properly pack it all at the end.
I don't want to sound insulting, but You can get some help.

Maps are the most important part of a mod. There are a lot's of tutorials over the net, how to improve your maps. For example, the bridge map will have horrible r_speed, 'cos of the bridge cords.

I will track this, meanwhile here is my new prefab pack:

Yes the music is made by me! :D And yeah I loved your prefabs! And the UFO was perfect for it, and dont worry I will be crediting the models to the people who made them!
As for the maps, yes I know how to make them, it's the detail I need to get right! And awesome prefabs!
As for the "horrible r_speed" I'm not sure what that is :S

As a matter of fact, yes. I thought about it sometime ago and I really wanted to have a classical alien/sci-fi theme with space ships of some sort. I have a UFO prefab too! You'll see a glimpse of it in an upcoming video of one of many maps I'm working on! Also as a teaser *SPOILER*...one of the maps will involve killing a LOT of aliens on-board a huge mother-ship!
