Also, are you planning on adding different kinds of baddies? Instead of just making it so that the metro-cops spawn faster, might make if bigger ones that were slower and did more damage started getting mixed in, or faster ones, or ones with guns(Guns with short range, or guns that fires shots that you could see slowly moving through the air(Rockets?), and it would also be cool to see some power-ups in differant rooms. Just some ideas.
