what would have happened if the darwinians had downloaded a video game along
with the red virus? well, you're about to find out!
hello, and welcome to darwinia: arcaderemix!
to run:
1) place enemywithinpart1 directory in your darwinia mods directory:
windows: ..\darwinia\mods\
steam: ..\valve\steam\steamApps\[username]\darwinia\mods\
mac: ~/library/application support/darwinia/full/mods/
linux: ~/.darwinia/mods/
make sure to maintain the proper file structure - inside 'mods' there should
be one directory with the name of the mod, and within that, should be game.txt
and other relevant files and directories.
2) load the mod, restart darwinia, and create a new profile before playing.
*note: if you have RenderSpecialLighting in your preferences.txt file, please
make sure it is set to 0. if it is set to 1, the mod will not look the way it
was intended to look.
*note: sometimes you get a 'small pede' that you can't see - i consider that a
bug in the game, not my mod. the luminescence of the virii units vary, and
that variance is hardcoded within the game; i'm sure it would be easy to alter
the range of that variance so that nearly invisible virii don't occur. here's
hoping that happens in a future patch.
about the music:
this game contains a number of music tracks created by Mathieu 'Dma-Sc'
Stempell, whose track, 'visitors from dreams' is heard during the opening
sequence of the game.
'tresk_-_excuses' is really: 'Dma-Sc - Gr00vix'
'tresk_-_faces-of-a-fashion' is really: 'Dma-Sc - 1st Sidsound'
'trash80_-_pain-fade-down' is really: 'Dma-Sc - Chipsters'
'tresk_-_impact-of-silence' is really: 'Dma-Sc - Magnetic Mind'
permission for use of Dma-Sc tracks given by Mathieu 'Dma-Sc' Stempell.
