Description: The Apocalypse Weapons modification has a main objective: Turn your Unreal Tournament into a real Deathmatch.
You'll now have powerfull and balanced weapons to use. New pickups were made to suit the mass deathmatch. Neat features will give you more power and speed. A new atmosphere will be born in your computer. Blood will be as simple as a cup of water.
That's the Apocalypse Weapons. A small and simple Modification...
...that turns your UT into a really Unreal Challenge.
Story: After the sucessful first Tournament, the Liandry Industries've decided to upgrade future Tournaments. So, the Apocalypse Weapons project was created. The base of the project was the addition of much more bloody and frantic deathmatches, by including totally new lethal and balanced weapons.
And then, the project was launched. A long search for mercenaries, lunatics and scientists had begun. After years of work, three weapons were ready, so they put them into action.
The Unreal Tournament - Apocalypse Weapons was born. Unfortunately, the results were unexpected. The weapons weren't working properly, which resulted in many flaws and accidental explosions.The Liandry Industries abandonated the project.
Some years later, a young scientist who worked for Liandry Industries stole some parts of the project. Working alone, he improved the three old weapons, and in addition, developed two more. He then searched for a backer, and promoted a new Tournament.
It was so sucessful that today, the project has its own weapons, acessories and ammunition. And each day, the project grows bigger, developing more stuff and winning fans of the whole world. The Tournament can't stop.

Ahm... I haven't been doing many thing related to UT for a while, but I really, really want to finish the mod.
For now, I don't have any forums, and I'm really in need of suggestions (specially for ammunition/item names)... also, I'd be willing to send anyone interested in seeing how the mod is now the version I have here at the moment... and I must say, a lot have changed since the lastest version, Beta 9.

Although this version is not finished (so it *does not* have a Mod Menu, being only customisable by editing the .ini file for now), I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy it as it is, and possibly would be able to help me with a few suggestions...

I was only playing with Bullet Time cos I was board. Now I need to find a way to play DM-CUT-WeaponsOfChaos with AW.... O_o
Yeah, that's the problem. I really don't recommend playing AW with BulletTime, unless you're playing an Arena Match (removing the Unreal Volatile Ammo would be a good idea, too) using non-spamming weapons (all the weapons except Apocalypser and BrimStone).
I knew it was just me as I played a game of it the other night and it worked O_o My comp only froze cos its a crap PII. :(
That's because you don't have enought ammo to launch the Secondary Fire. It uses 16 ammo.. if you have 16 ammo or more but they're not loaded, the weapon will load it once. If you've less ammo, you'll keep loading, so use the primary fire! It's not a bug!
I've player AW with BulletTime... it's a bit laggy, but didn't lock up :rolleyes: too much projectiles in AW for the effects... I guess I'll put something related to compatibility in the Manual later, recommending specific settings/mutators for each mod/mutator.
A BUG! When I try to Alt fire the brim stone it says reloading, right, so yeh ok, then.....RELOADING AGAIN! I ain't quite sure if this is a bug or just me as the bots seem to be doing it right. And I was playing AW with Bullet Time before, my comp froze :D
