APERTURE'S HOUR fills the gap between Portal & Half-Life by giving a look at Aperture Laboratories during the Black Mesa Incident and the resulting Seven Hour War. Taking the role of an employee stuck in a testing cycle following GLaDOS' complete takeover on Bring Your Daughter to Work Day, make your way through and escape the now malfunctioning facility.
Something I've been working on for the past few days is an 80s section to the mod in which you find yourself back in this older section of the facility. Don't worry though, we won't be travelling any further back than the 80s sections of the facility.
You'll notice some bad lighting around the left-hand side of the image, this is because the wall behind the camera wasn't 100% complete at the time of taking this shot, so the lighting is a bit off.

I came up with an intersting idea involving Old Aperture. It will never be applicable for this mod, but I think it is still a good one.
What is your idea? BTW the floor texture in this image is the destroyed style portalable panel, There is another different texture for these 80's areas.
I placed that comment last year, I doubt I would actually remember my idea unfortunately.
