This week, we've got something new! Many fans have heard of the secret Soviet Revolution in WoL, and a few have even figured out how to achieve it! Today, we'll reveal the four paths to unlocking the revolution - completing any of these tasks will allow you to select Lenin as a Revolution leader in Age IV:

- Age up to Age II with the Quartermaster
- Age up to Age IV with the Patriarch
- Research Infiltration (Espionage)
- Have 52 Ryadovoys
- Have 25 Cossacks
- Have 17 Oprichniks
- Have 2 Frigates

- Age up to Age IV with the War Minister
- Ship Heavy Fortifications
- Ship Ransack

No, within each of the four lists order doesn't matter. As long as you have all those things Lenin will be available.
Would it be possible to include other secret revolutions for other factions in the future?

So I went for the first option since that seemed to only require a Level 25 Home City to unlock. But for some reason, I can't seem to find the Oprichnik anywhere in the Stable. There is the Ohkrana which seems to be the replacement unit but that doesn't count?
Very confused as to what I'm supposed to do.

Why did they make it so complicated? It would be much simpler to be able to choose the Soviets in the normal way

What are the perks you get from choosing Lenin? Any chance of this being a mainline revolution? Could be viable to have communist revolution for other nations too!

First option STILL doesn't work.
Seriously, what the hell are Oprichniks? I've tried the spear guys and the hand cavalry guys but none of them seem to do the trick.
1st method is broken 2nd won't work in the latest version 3rd works just fine and I am yet to try the 4th. I have a little suggestion though can the red guard be bolt action instead of muzzle loaded? It kinda bothers me a little but not that much.
This is outdated, try the 3rd option...
I have to guess that this Easter Egg is meant to demonstrate complex logics with tech prerequisites. AoE3 has a lot of untapped potential.
