Greetings to all fans of an exciting game Unreal! 3 years have passed since the moment we wrote here. Back then we warned that development process of Another Reality would be slow and perhaps too slow, but in any case we aren’t going to suspend it at all.
And we keep our word, however sad or encouraging it may sound =) I mean the work on the mod is carried on very slowly due to the reason that our team got even smaller. However we feel stongly against the idea of stopping our work and that fact really helped us to achieve the results presented here in a form of screenshots, a trailer and a demo-version. Generally speaking, during the past 3 years we haven’t been working much on the material needed for a new demo-version. It doesn’t mean that there isn’t any new stuff at all, though. And we are ready to present a new collection of screenshots to prove that. Some of them demonstrate our older materials just because the new ones haven’t been taken yet. In short, while playing a demo-version it’s not possible to see the whole progress done.
By the way, we are still planning to create a new demo-version! According to our last news we promised to complete a Nali Temple level (and also Urhur Abyss), which was partially presented, and to fulfill a general edit of all the maps. Unfortunately we can’t be sure about the deadline of the project =( Considering our past experience we understand that we should carry out much more changes. That’s why we are planning to add one extra level, a more extensive one in comparison with the others in our demo-version.
But in order to implement all our plans within a reasonable time we absolutely need additional team members.
It’s not a secret that sooner or later some difficulties may arise in such amateur projects which are usually based on enthusiasm of people involved. Unfortunately this is happening now. It’s not that we weren’t ready or we face these difficulties for the first time. But it’s the worst time of all our 8 year development of Another Reality. Of course the enthusiasm isn’t everlasting but the main problem is in absence of motivated people. Or to be more precise, the people who speak Russian. Russian-speaking community of Unreal is reducing drastically =(
Nevertheless creation of Another Reality is really important to us. That’s why we still hope for your help and ask you for help... one more time. We are somewhat ashamed to do it in this situation =( because we already did it 3 years ago. Back then thing were going well with the project and we made a regrettable mistake: we asked only Russian-speaking users to help.
Well.. it’s quite an embarrassing situation. I presume the best solution is to apologize and to ask all of you for help again. It’s vitally important for us now.
It's good to hear you're still working on the project and I hope that some day it will be completed! The Unreal community is getting smaller, but there are still people who share the enthusiasm and dedication for our beloved game. Wishing you luck in the future, guys!

Yes, our work is carried on very slowly - only 2 mappers for all 30 levels... But we won't give up our project and one day it will be fully released. We hope that the very dedicated Unreal fans will always stay Unreal! This game deserves to be loved and appreciated in all times.

The work continues, it's cool !!! I look forward to the release of mod and the updated beta !! I really want to help, but my knowledge of the game editor will not be enough (((. Thank you very much! So many years of hard persistent work are truly the result of team's undying enthusiasm! It's sad - about the Russian Unreal community at the whole - but it's true. And still, there are the ones who carry the work on, and remain truly dedicated to this great unique game!

So I am from russia. The messages here are mostly in English, that's why I'm writing on it.
I really want to see this project going somewhere, you may need to upgrade to 227i though (if it's not too much of a hassle of course) since it's the standard community patch for years now.
Well, yes, we know about the actual patch, but still this mod is planned to be based on 227h, because of it's high stability and compatibility with all tools used in development. We suppose (and hoping to be sure) though, it can be played on 227i with no problem :) If any bugs will be found during the tests on i-patch,we'll do our best to fix them. Btw, if you found any when playing the demo, report to us, please.

What for? The script stuff I left you should be compatible with version 227I. Other problems in the transition to a newer version can not be.
