This mod attempts to reflect the reality of 13th century Europe. The starting point of the journey is year 1257 AD and attempts to be as historically accurate as possible. From this point on the player and NPC lords shape this land and fight for supremacy and control of the continent.

You may not use any part of this mod without obtaining permission from the original author in any works, free or commercial, unless otherwise specified.
The mod currently requires Warband 1.143-1.153 and it is to be considered in beta stage. Bug reports and suggestions are welcome!

Hmm, still found several (obvious) bugs, like:

Crossbows are nearly useless now, since their range is limited to 10, 20m ... woah.
You can't skill more than one level of power draw. Intentional?
Power strike seems to be limited to four levels. Intentional?

Some smaller issues, but those are -really- obvious. I don't use the crossbow that often, but I rely on my archery skills ... meh.

I don't know what you're talking about, there's nothing wrong with the range of crossbows. I have four levels of power draw, my power strike is five.

I think you should re-download the mod.

this retreat problem is really a game buster : it seems to me the archers are now scripted to position themselves in front of the infantry so when u tell the infantry to stand in front of them, like for example in a slope like the rodhoks in the original game, they lose it and start retreating. I play with the roman empire of Nicaea, dunno if it is relevant, but it's annoying as hell : i always have to deal with perfectly organised ranks of archers behind a line od infantry with either one of my own retreating to the start of the map as soon as i issue an order

I have a problem : whenever i tell my men to stand ground they always start retreating to the starting point, it's very annoying to fall back to where your infantry is supposed to be and find out they are gone

The patch made all the faction's messed up in Europe, I don't recommend you to download 0.97.1 Just do the 0.97

Also using the SVN version as any version of updates for most mods, a new game is usually required. But still use the SVN if you want the latest update of the mod.

Its alright, I like the setting and the map layout, but needs more troop variations.
