hello how do I enable the mini map while in battles? :c I've been using the version 1.03 these days since I am new to it. But I saw this v1.10, 1.11 and updated it. I have a minimap on 1.03 but it went gone after the new version. Oh, and additional problem when I use the save characters from '1.03' to '1.11' my characters and the other army in the map doesn't moving...

A year of waiting for that damn Horse Archer bug to be fixed and finally I may rejoice! This and Gekojuko are by far my favorite M&B mods of all time - thank you so much for this pure awesomeness!
Any chance of the module system for 1257 being released? I've been dying to create individual troops for each faction and several other tweaks ever since I first played this a couple of years ago.

Also, a few little issues:

-Failing to disguise yourself and sneak into London puts you in a square which is surrounded by invisible walls; this has gotten me killed multiple times as you cannot tell where the Invisiwalls are. Also, one of the guards spawns in a shop behind a counter.

-Some Welsh archers are not wearing boots; I assume this is to simulate the barefooted archers, but it looks like they aren't wearing pants at all! The addition of a one-shoe-one-barefoot boots item would work if possible.

And a few balance notes:

-Maces are severely underpowered at the moment. They are slower and do less damage than swords...to compensate for this, you could add a "bonus versus shields" ability to them, simulating crush damage. Once I have an Oakeshott sword, I find myself ignoring the arms merchant altogether.

-Javelins in particular are a bit too strong, especially when used by the Baltic troops. Reducing the ammo count to 3 has helped with the balancing here for me. Throwing spears could also be dropped to 2 with slightly higher damage and given to Scandinavian infantry, though this may or may not be necessary or accurate.

One last little idea: I would recommend a modification of quiver size for arrows based on balance and historical accuracy are 50 for Mongol arrows, 24 for bodkin arrows, barbed arrows and regular arrows. Finally, the "strely" arrow item could be renamed "Field Arrows" or the like and set as a 72 arrow quiver for Welsh and English archers, representing the large bags of arrows archers would bring to the battlefield instead of quivers.

Several versions, and I think 1.10 included should have a folder for English names under OPTIONAL. It claims to be outdated however I'm using it and there are no issues whatsoever.

You can ask the pope for a crusade.
You can join a crusader order by going to the head of the order ( one of 3 or 4 lords in the Crusader states). Also if you are a lord in a catholic kingdom, you can ask your king if you can go join the crusades for a while. Useful for getting some experience and loot imo)
And castles are obtained from villages, just keep upgrading them and you can spend a huge sum to build defenses around them, building a castle in the vicinity). Hope this helped mate.

Its alright, I like the setting and the map layout, but needs more troop variations.
