This mod attempts to reflect the reality of 13th century Europe. The starting point of the journey is year 1257 AD and attempts to be as historically accurate as possible. From this point on the player and NPC lords shape this land and fight for supremacy and control of the continent.

You may not use any part of this mod without obtaining permission from the original author in any works, free or commercial, unless otherwise specified.
The mod currently requires Warband 1.143-1.153 and it is to be considered in beta stage. Bug reports and suggestions are welcome!

Well this is nice, when using this page to download the latest version of anno domini

and clicking install using desura, it "seems like" it's still downloading the version already on desura, the changelog says 0.97 once installed. so i'm downloading it manually from the page instead ^.^

And yes 1.03 is for the patched v1.158 but it doesn't break or not work when installing warband from desura unpatched, but features are obviously missing and not working during gameplay. such as freelance i think.

The mod is great. But what bothers me is when I'm defending a castle as a freelance troop under a Lord the enemy forces never tend to approach the gates. Also as an attacker the A.I. fails to strike as the gates exposing the entire army to a lengthy boiling oil death.

I kind of liked how the factions were named in Latin. It made them fit better with the game, the mod being medieval.

My question is, do I get to build my own faction's troop tree?

Of course >.> it does say that on the taleworlds forums. The game hasn't been updated and never will, so the latest anno domini will always be compatible with the latest warband.

link above is "advertises desura all over" version 1.03 of anno 1257 exe

As usual desura is hosting only 0.95, not even 0.97. Beyond me why the latest is not qued to desura upload yet. Either way just click download with desura while desura is open, and there you go hopefully ^.^

Its alright, I like the setting and the map layout, but needs more troop variations.
