but do not panic.
Very shortly we will be relaunching the Planetstorm page on IndieDB,
as we continue development of our standalone game, powered by the UDK engine.
the UT3 Mod version of Planetstorm is still available to download,
and an official server is still run for the UDK SHOWCASE version.

Its been a hard hard year. but we're still climbing the dev mountain. Things are now starting to look pretty again, so we'll be making some effort to show you what we're doing.
We be mappin right now, making vasty vistas for your visual... verification... we went on a massive push to improve the look of all our environment pieces, and to create a ton more. Look forward to large detailed urbanscapes, and very soon - Teh Jungle!
On the code side, we now have absolutely delicious firefights going on, with a completely new weapon recoil mechanic and completely scratch-built squad AI. Your grunts now obey your every command, supply you, revive you, and generally cover your ass. Game logic is being hammered into shape and we have a new and fancy UI to deal with some of the new equipment options.

This game is great, very few errors or anything. It allows the player to fight on all fronts such as in a ship, in space, or in the enemy ship, aswell as fight on the planet using multiple weapons and vehicles.

hot damn! just saw the trailer (friend showed me) and looked through a few screens. great stuff man! looks even better than the game the engine was built for! def gonna be watching this. usually i dont buy games...EVER. with things like torrents nowadays i dont have to settle for ridiculous 60 dollar price tags. but for this i would gladly pay. awesome job guys, good luck getting the project finished. ill be waiting with ears and eyes open and fingers crossed.

we're deep in production right now, keeping to ourselves mostly.
what where working on right now includes:
- several brand new map concepts, to be made into a singleplayer campaign as well as for multiplayer ( Affuniverse.com )
- a new working HUD ( Affuniverse.com )
- more fps weapons ( Affuniverse.com )
- making mechs, both art and code ( Affuniverse.com )
- upgrading our art to better next gen standards ( Affuniverse.com )
- coding a new system for bots
- new and better animations and matinee sequences ( Youtube.com )
we'll have to see about the consoles, PC certainly before any consoles...
Game looks amazing, please add invert mouse to your options so I don't have to slag through the .ini file. Keep up the great work!
We will, the showcase was kinda quickly done so we didn't have time for more options/features. tho to be honest not many ever use inverted mouse...

we are making it a standalone game, atleast via steam available, *possibly* on consoles too, but only if it isnt too much trouble to do...
