An ancient historical RTS for Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. The first beta is released featuring 5 civilizations: Romans, Carthaginians, Athenians, Spartans and Macedonians. There are 3 more to come: Persians, Celts and Scythians. I am looking for people to contribute (or form a team) with mostly minor modeling/skinning tweaks (major are welcome as well) but anything from triggering/terraining better than mine to suggestions or playtesting is welcome.

In the past few months I've redone almost everything on how the map works. Before any early release though, I'd love to test it with real players. Anyone up for the task contact me:)

In the past few months I've redone almost everything on how the map works. Before any early release though, I'd love to test it with real players. Anyone up for the task contact me:)

A playable alpha map is ready, including:
- Almost completely redesigned tech-trees and units, going for more of an Age Of Empires approach to help balancing and reduce work needed (for example now a "Spearman" represents both a roman triarius and a greek hoplite, but each civs spearmen might have unique attributes through techs and bonuses).
- 5 Civs with functional AI for all of them.
- New terrain without much detail (an Oasis map) that will definitely change again*.
- Many gameplay changes to work better with WC3 limitations
.

The 5 civs ready for now are listed under the human race and called collectively Mediterraneans and include:

- ROMANS: Sword Infantry get +1 damage and +10 hit points. Main upgrades give bonuses to Infantry, structures and mechanical units.
- SPARTANS:
Spearmen get +3 damage/+30 Hit Points and get limited to 1 per Farm. Main upgrades give bonuses to infantry, slaves and skirmishers.
- ATHENIANS:
Workers get +1 gold capacity. Workers, Militia and buildings get +15% hit points. Each Academy tech and each Phase researched grants a free Philosopher unit. Main upgrades give bonuses to ranged units, navy and structures.
- CARTHAGINIANS:
Town Centers, Fortresses, Docks and Towers +50% hit points. All units and ships +100 line of sight. Main upgrades give bonuses to mercenaries, economy, structures and navy.
- MACEDONIANS:
Stable units and Swordsmen get +1 damage and +10% movement speed. 3 Successor faction options with various bonuses each are unlocked for the Imperial Phase.
The 3 other Civs (Persians, Celts and Scythians) will have more distinct tech trees and models needed and are delayed for now.

* I'm struggling with what would be the final map layout to the point of recreating the terrain many times and being bored of adding details as it might change anytime again. After suggestions from Raygoza I'm considering to make this a mod in the future, to benefit from both having multiple maps and extra space that will be needed if I am to include all 8 civs.

I'm always looking for some help, especially with models (mostly basic edits).
