Hey guys, in a sad effort to get more people to vote for my game in the contest, I recorded a quick playthrough of my Custom Story, Through the Portal, giving little tidbits of how I made things / why, etc.
Also, I find two glitches that I somehow didn't notice, and they are bad.
Well, if you're bored / want to learn a bit more about my story, might as well give it a look.

While the visuals are good, the gameplay is poor and the story is nonexistent. There is no plot line at all save for three notes clustered together in one room. The gameplay is short with no sense of direction or goals and there was little difficulty in finding important items. Again, the visuals are good, but they are the only thing that any work appears to be put into and cannot by themselves hold the mod up.

i downloaded the 2.1 version and there is a lot of the background missing. most of the rocks are missing after you exit the hall way near the bignning. lawl lawl lawl lawl lawl lawl!!!
Thats because you either pirated Amnesia or didn't update to the latest version.
See my new comment above. You have to extract the rar then go to the Through the Portal folder where you see the billboards, entities, config, etc folders. Copy or cut everything then go to the Amnesia/redist folder and paste. You should see the merge message. No merge message, not doing it right. Make sure to use the Through the Portal.bat file to start the game.
Worth the very little effort to get it going.
Of course if you have a pirated copy of Amnesia nothing will work. The author of this mod made sure one has to have a legit serial to play the mod. Good job!
