Ive altered all of the music files for Amnesia to attempt to replicate a sortof surround sound system on standard 2.1/2.0 pc speaker systems or higher (quadraphonic etc. "expands" the audio), THIS IS NOT FOR HEADPHONES (though with the new update, you may find it enhances the experience anyway). If you enjoy it or think it significantly enhances the Amnesia experience, tell me about it via comment, please rate this mod, it will be greatly appreciated... thank you all for trying this out, keeping my ranking higher than I previously ever would have expected.

Description
This file will allow for discrete 5.1/7.1 (or any sound mode your sound card and sound system support) channel surround FOR SOUND EFFECTS ONLY. Previously I had this dll hosted on a mediafire hotlink. Then I thought that I would host it here for improved stability/convenience. (Version 1.15.1) thanks "cpl_nobbs"
INSTRUCTIONS:
IMPORTANT: REMOVE the space immediately following the first "%" in "% HOMEDRIVE%" in the directory character string/name this website does not like the syntax if the space is absent, it would show up like: "&#xHO;MEDRIVE%"
Copy "openal-soft-1.15.1-bin.zip\openal-soft-1.15.1-bin\Win32\soft_oal.dll" to "% HOMEDRIVE%\Program Files\Amnesia - The Dark Descent\redist" if you have x86 (32bit) Windows and the Retail Version of "Amnesia - The Dark Descent"
Copy "openal-soft-1.15.1-bin.zip\openal-soft-1.15.1-bin\Win32\soft_oal.dll" to "% HOMEDRIVE%\Program Files\steam\steamapps\common\amnesia the dark descent" if you have x86 (32bit) Windows and the Steam Version of "Amnesia - The Dark Descent"

When you start up the amnesia launcher there should be an "unsupported" device in the list of usable sound cards, select that device (if there are more than one, select the "unsupported" device for the sound card you wish to use) and play away...
