Ive altered all of the music files for Amnesia to attempt to replicate a sortof surround sound system on standard 2.1/2.0 pc speaker systems or higher (quadraphonic etc. "expands" the audio), THIS IS NOT FOR HEADPHONES (though with the new update, you may find it enhances the experience anyway). If you enjoy it or think it significantly enhances the Amnesia experience, tell me about it via comment, please rate this mod, it will be greatly appreciated... thank you all for trying this out, keeping my ranking higher than I previously ever would have expected.
This soundtrack I actually just compiled (1/14/13). Same as Black Plague, I do not have a fancy installer for this one and so it must be extracted to a specific directory...
IMPORTANT: REMOVE the space immediately following the first "%" in "% HOMEDRIVE%" in the directory character string/name this website does not like the syntax if the space is absent, it would show up like: "HO;MEDRIVE%"
allright, so here are the directory paths:
For the Retail version of penumbra black plague in x86 (32bit) Windows extract to:
"% HOMEDRIVE%\Program Files\Penumbra\Episode 1\redist\music"
For the Retail version of penumbra black plague in x64 (64bit) Windows extract to:
"% HOMEDRIVE%\Program Files (x86)\Penumbra\Episode 1\redist\music"
WARNING: I have currently have no way of verifying that the steam directories are correct. If you would like to, if you have a copy of the steam edition of penumbra black plague, I would appreciate someone verifying the accuracy of these paths.
For the Steam version of penumbra black plague in x86 (32bit) Windows extract to:
"% HOMEDRIVE%\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\penumbra overture\redist\music"
For the Steam version of penumbra black plague in x64 (64bit) Windows extract to:
"% HOMEDRIVE%\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\penumbra overture\redist\music"
