August 12, 2019 news update and progress report.

Well, I'm back from vacation and working on designs, textures, and the GUI.

Spent far too much time over the past two days deciphering the TrackerScheme.Res file just to modify the colors of menus and such. I miss the old days of just taking the *.gif images, dumping them in Paintshop, and manually processing the RGB sliders till I had what I wanted. This thing - Only way I could figure it out was to go line by line and change the color to lime green, boot HL, find what changed, go back make it the color I want, reboot HL - Rinse. And. Repeat. For. Each. Line. Remind me to make a tutorial later.

For level design clearly I'm rusty - but at least between Jackhammer and ZHLT we now have the technology to basically say "Hey Numpty - ya got a LEAK. right there. Yep right there at almost that exact point. Go fix it then come back and we'll finish compiling."

Also on level design I'm tweaking certain designs on older finished maps. things are a bit blocky in areas. Yea GoldSRC has its limits but I aim to push them where possible. I posted two pictures a couple days ago showing just how bad things were in 2004. If I even attempted to compile a quarter of the map I'm working now on my old rig it'd be push the button at 10pm go to sleep and maybe it'll be done in the morning.

Texture wise I'm adding more to be used in the housing area as you're very limited to the "50's" group.
