AMNESIA: FEAR IN HANDS begins will the death of a machine... A Machine for Pigs.
It's an unnoficial sequence for the series, made by fans and lovers of the horror games.

The story is set during the beginning of the 21th Century, in the City of Brennard, when Daryon, a bankrupt detective becomes desperate to find his disappeared wife, searching every corner deeply, begging for a clue and being convinced that no one can stop him, he only stops when he figures out that all of his effort is just futile. He starts to get drunk and to frequent bars almost every day. The only thing that he didn't try is to end his meaningless life, all because of his adorable daughter, Sofia, with his now ex-wife, Natália Wolfinger.

2 years later, when he is trying to forget everything that lead him to total failure. He goes again to a bar to drink the famous Amnesia Potion we use to know as a beer. When he's getting back home, he notices a paranormal activity in the top level of his house. He sees a shadow with his daughter and starts running to get her. He gets in his car and go to a fast walk, trying to save her. Nothing could go wrong, except a car accident in the thoroughfare of the outskirts of Brennard City... He wakes up in a forest, bleeding, destined to die... With no memory... Only hallucinations of a man with a gas mask, holding the hand of girl... A hand trembling with fear...

Hello dear ModDB, IndieDB & Desura trackers!

We're close to an end (finally). In August, we'll make 3 years of development and it's already time to release our game. We can see all the hype behind Fear in Hands by already seeing the comments in the official page. We can't wait any longer to release it, but we want to make sure that all this hype will feed your expectations when you first start the custom story. We want to dive in the game development with everything! Making sure everybody will love the final product of our custom story! We have plenty of time to make everything and make it right!

We have just heard from Megan Kelly, the voice actress behind Nathalia's Voice that she is soon getting a new headphone for the voice recording, so you guys won't have to wait much longer before seeing the result here. Our Brazilian voice actor, Matheus Rodrigues, has finished almost 100% of the recording sessions for the Torturer character. The result is amazing, I'm sure that all the Brazilian fans that loves Amnesia won't be disappointed with the PT-BR translation and voice acting for the game.

We just have received an e-mail from Philicia Clarke (Sofia Wolfinger) and Paul Russel (The Torturer) with their latest voice lines and I can say that it's AWESOME. I loved everything on it and you guys sure will love too. Their talent is unbelievable amazing!

Also, we've contacted HideBound Entertainment to help us making the custom models for Fear in Hands. We are redoing a lot of things, since walls, assets and even some image effects for the Total Conversion and Simple Custom versions. With the new updated version of Blender, now the 3D models doesn't broke on HPL anymore, making it so easier to import to the engine and make the environments. All this was possible thanks to Bruno Alysson, an amazing programmer and 3D designer. You can see some examples of his work for Amnesia here:

I really hope that you wasn't expecting us to show to you the textures and the final models... Yeah, because we won't. We will hold that to be shown in the future screenshots and for the final product.

By the way, talking about 3D models, we can't forget to tell that we still are doing the researches about curious places here in Brazil that has the terrifying feeling of horror. In one of our latest researches,

Matt Rod took some really great screenshots of a dark mansion here in Campinas that has more than 60 years. It's literally a castle. This helped us a lot in the 3D environment creation, since the last level (spoiler alert) will be in an attic. You will be able to find more about his work in the official Fear in Hands website.

We're already ready for the release of the final trailer for FiH. It still have some months before everything be set but it won't take much longer for you to see the ''TBD'' dissapear from this page once for all. We're done and we want to thank you all for this endless support, that help us so much to keep the development and be even happier making this game! You guys are incredible! We've the greatest fans!

For this tenth update, it's just that. It's few, but with patience, you will see, finally, the next trailer of Amnesia: Fear in Hands, followed by an Early Access demo.

r u gonna release a demo soon because i NEED to play this it looks awesome! it looks alot like amnesia a machine for pigs witch is awesome because i personly really like amfp alot i know alot of people didnt like it but i thought it i was pretty good so to see a custom story like this utilizing the machine for pigs update is awesome!

We're working our best to launch a demo really soon! Your kind words motivates us to work even more! To delivery a more stunning custom story, with a deep and lovely story! Yeah, we've make sure that we would mix the strong horror elements of the first game with the strong and deep loneliness feeling of the second one in one game! Making it unique and perfect. Hahaha we wanted a lot to use new stuff besides the original ones from the TDD, so we decided to use some free assets from the internet + some models packs from ModDB, made by others developers + the Penumbra and AMFP assets + another ones that we're request & buying exclusively for our game.

This process is very complicated. I will not lie. We're not professionals, but there is something that we KNOW PRETTY WELL how to do: team work. We love this and we love games, so we decided to create Blaster Lizard and Fear in Hands is our very first game. There is a lot of people that know how to program and everything. But we haven't mastered the techniques of game creation. With your help and support we'll be able to do it. We're not adventures, so we will not let this game die or cancel it. If it takes more 3 years, well... My bad, but what matters is: if we will have to take more 3 new years, we will make this worth the wait then!

I really want you to play our game! And we will work the hardest possible to give you the most amazing experience you can have in Amnesia. Talking about the story, immersion and gameplay. :D

Well, with this trailer just gives immersion of Amensia and the physics of it. Haven't seen anything kinda like a presentation/demonstration of a custom story in it?
Furthermore it seems all a bit wannabe professional with this "blaster lizard proudly presents stuff".

The screenshot are imo mostly some overloaded with assets.

We do not want to show anything now. We want to keep everything as a secret for the moment. The proposal of the trailer was exactly that: to show the immersion and mapping. Nothing beyond that.

Yes, we are a small indie games company set in Brazil, we are responsible for translating Kraven Manor, developing Canis Lupus and supporting Skyjaz Games, whose have made Pesadelo: O Início, considered one of the best indie horror games of 2013.

And yes again, we're obsessed with details. This is our developing style. We want to bring what the players want: Good mapping, with a deep story and new gameplay mechanics. You can see in the older screenshots that there is much more than just original assets in there. Like I've said before, 95% of the game is custom made ;D

Guys i'm a bit confused about the video,i thought that there were new stuff,new entities,but now it seems like amnesia a machine for pigs,i hope i'm wrong,i really liked the idea at the beginning!

Don't worry. The trailer was made to show the mapping and the immersion of the game. We were testing the AMFP assets in the game, because we weren't using nothing of it. 95% of the game is made with custom assets, some of they used from our indie game, Canis Lupus.

The Torturer's Manor is 1 of the 35 planned maps for FiH. Do not worry mate! :D We will blow your mind with this game! ;)

Exactly! 90 years after A Machine for Pigs, it tellx the story of a man that wanted to rebuilt the machine to take control of the world, but there is someone that will stop him... Or not. It all depends to you
