This patch was created to add the HD skins that came bundled with the new re-release of American McGee's Alice. I figured since many people who have played this mod had an original copy of Alice and would love to have the new HD skins without having to buy the game again. So here you are. Also, I sharpened these HD textures even more to make them look better then they originally did. Enjoy.

WOW, i actually have this game... it is somewhere, i just know it! looking forward to checking this out at some point soon.
tracking....
and thanks for the work!!
When I make textures out of photos, I always make two similar textures: black and white hi-res texture and low-res colorful texture. This way every texture has it's own detail texture. The effect is mind-blowing for me (but GoldScr doesn't like this method much). Visually, the colorful texture paints the detail texture.
But when you don't have the photos used for making the textures in this game, I'd make the image of the texture bigger and add the detail manually, according to the image.
I'm writing this because I don't like when one detail texture is used for many different textures. And the textures in the "Madly Enhanced" download are no exception.
What are you talking about? What do you mean by one detail texture is used by many different textures? Are you talking about the shader textures. Because there's more then one for different surfaces. I don't think you know what you're talking about.
I think I found another bug. In the level Mirror Image, the Spinning tunnel which is supposed to open if you shoot the clock can't be triggered.
Alright. Thanks for the post. I'll jump on that ASAP. It's more then likely another lantern that is causing the problem.

Nice one. Never played the game before but I'm sure it'll be awesome, especially with your textures.
I normally have about 90fps. But near water I only have about 10fps. When I remove the texture pack the framerate still drops but only to about 25fps. Anybody got an idea what is wrong? Google wasn't really helpful on that one
Sry for spamming here. But if anybody else got the problem:
The Matrox video card fix seemed to do the trick for me although I don't even have a Matrox card. I also reapplied the mod.
Glad you found a fix for that. I don't have that problem at all. Hope you enjoy my work.
I'll look into that and patch that ASAP.
