Hey I am new to the mods but I love civil war stuff. I downloaded the mod 1.9 and was able to extract it using winzip. I am guessing I probably should hae used Winrar? Anyway, If that is the case can you please let me know how and to what file I place the mod so it will run in Empire Total war? thanks!

The Confederates weren't too rich by the end of the war. Not to mention, Britain or France had never ended up siding with the Confederates. The ambassadors wanted to. But the Confederates failed to prove that they had a possibility of winning a war after failing at Antietam and Gettysburg.

Don't only trust what your teachers tell you, please. And deffinitely DO NOT TELL ME YOU GOT THAT FROM WIKIPEDIA.

It's always more nice to open a few research books and get the true facts my friend.

The ambassadors may have wanted to help but yes as you said they were afraid to get into a war with the United States as they had already been burned in America too many times, also as long as the South had slaves they would never enter an alliance with them as Britain was against slavery.

Britain, and no countries ever supported the Confederate cause. Britain was peaceful at the time, and would not wish to stir anything up with the US, which after the 1812 war, had a Status Quo with.

Why you would think that Britain aided the Confederate cause, please say! or better yet, provide a source link, as apart from National Treasure which made the British out to be conspiring against the Union, even though the Queen had sent the Resolute desk over as an actual gift of pride and gratitude.

Britain certainly aided The South... but 'undercover'. The Enfield rifles the Rebs used were from Britain. Also, the Commerce Raiders came from Britain (Heard of The Alabama Claims?). Britain traded cotton for arms. When the U.S. Blockade turned 'serious', the Brits started growing cotton in India.
